Kung Fu Flicks

Chosen heroes, a mystical island, colorful Ninjas, a four armed Prince getting punched in the nuts and Christopher Lambert as a smartass Thundergod, the movie is all kinds of fun.

Awesome movie, surprised nobody's mentioned it yet. That and Once Upon a Time are essential Jet Li.

I love Fearless for it's philosophy as much as it's martial arts. I especially liked the scene between Huo Yuanjia and Tanaka discussing the various grades of tea which could be attributed to almost any other subject.

I like a few, though the genre kind of got tired for me after a while.

Agreed. I think the original Chinese version of Thai Chi Master is also one of his best, the American DVD version sucked, they took out the original score and changed the story a bit. Dragon Dynasty is coming out with a remastered version but Im not sure if its going to be the original cut..

Saw a new Fist of Legend from Dragon Dynasty out this week. It didn't look like it had anything amazing about this dvd version of it. I know the movie is amazing, I'm not talking about that. I was just wondering if anyone picked it up and noticed a really good remaster or anything special with it?

^ cool. picked up both the new Fist of Legend release as well as Tai Chi Master tonight. I can't believe Dragon Dynasty is already up to the early thirties with their releases, given they're not all as good quality as these last two, but still, that was quick.
