Pffft. Pass.

Still, it looks better than "GTA 8:Another City with the same fricken gameplay".

i love the trailer, but i want to know the actual plot. that is what will determine a YAY or NAY for me.

L.A Noire Trailer

L.A Noire is a game that was created and conceived by The Creator of 'The Getaway' series for the PS3. He went on to form a new development studio called Team Bondi and set to work on his 1960's styled game along the same vein as a GTA, meaning an open world. However his ambition far outstrips most other games, using real actors and real set pieces that would be later scanned into the game, the costs associated with it were ballooning. Eventually Sony didn't see the upside in financing the project and struck a deal with Team Bondi taht if they could find another publisher willing to take it on, then Sony would help compensate them, if not, they'd be shutting the project down. At that point Rockstar Games stepped in an liked what they saw.

LA Noire went from being called a "PS3 exclusive" to "Next generation consoles" and it was heavily assumed that the game would also go to the 360... however...

Apparently LA NOIRE is a PS3 exclusive once more... maybe only a timed exclusive? For 2008?

Regardless, Sony and Rockstar have confirmed that their next big franchise that we will see after GTAIV comes out will be PS3 exclusive, and it is not LA NOIRE they were speaking of.

Just cause it' only coming out for PS3 next year doesnt mean it wont come out for 360 ever...it may be a time based exclusive, like the GTAs

Well it could be, but I mean it is marked as a 2008 exclusive, meaning it wouldn't appear elsewhere until 2009? To say that's a wasy away would be an understatement.

wait what ..i thought LA Noire was being funded by sony?!

and your link doesn't work El Santo

Team Bondi's new game L.A. Noire is a 1940's detective thriller, published by Rockstar Games. When GTA IV was delayed, LA Noire was also moved back to 2009 and was listed only for Playstation 3. However, a job listing over at Gamasutra reveals that L.A. Noire might not only be a Playstation 3 game, but also a Xbox 360 game.

Team Bondi is looking for a talented Lead Animator to manage the Animation pipeline, team and motion capture for the project. At the bottom of the page however, we find that this 'project' is on both Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 platforms. So is L.A. Noire really a Playstation 3 exclusive, or will it go multi-platform?

El Santo provided the link for the job listing.

PS3 exclusive or not, one thing is for sure, we don´t know much about it to think i will be any good/great.

Gamera is becoming nothing but a common bottom feeding fanboy.

Hey, what the hell? :cmad:
I just posted the news, woman! I even did it in your thread, not in the "Misc" one which had even more posts  :(

LA Noire was already marked as a PS3 exclusive, than this (the article you posted) came up, and then there were unconfirmed reports that it was back to being a PS3 exclusive (also delayed by 8 months).

Don't say things like "99 percent of the people who complain about Asassins Creed being boring would have ahd no problem if it was still a PS3 exclusive"

:cmad:

I'm sorry, but I had the help of my magic 8-ball for that one, you can't blame me :(

L.A Noire is not a PS3 exclusive.

There is another title being worked on that is a PS3 exclusive.

Team Bondi is only working on LA Noire, I think you're confusing the Team Bondi stuff with Rockstars PS3 exclusive?

I didn't mean TB were working on another title. The "PS3 exclusive" is the half sequel/follow up for Red Dead Revolver(It gets messy since its not the "Next Gen Western" game announced way back. That was killed off and they started over).

apparently the new game informer will have new info.

this game looks absolutely intriguing.
