Anyone notice in last nights episode the opening city shot was a shot of Gotham from Batman Begins? You could see the Narrows and Arkham.

Im pretty sure she was in Metropolis. Unless you think Jimmy Olsen flew to Gotham city, and and managed to find Lana's secret drop off exchange.

Creative reasons, financial reasons, or geeky buzz-worthy reasons?

Creatively: It makes sense that clandestine meetings and nefarious exchanges take place in Gotham City.
Financially: BB is owned by Warners. It was probably a cheap plate dropped in to establish the setting. Besides, why re-invent the wheel, right?
Marketing: Uniting Batman with Superman in even the most remotest of ways is fanboy gold!

Yeah, But Of All The shots of Metropolis they had to use that. I mean i'm not upset with it. Your Explanations are probably right.

I didn't even notice that screen shot was Gotham until I saw it mentioned on here, how slow am I? :woot:

very interesting!

When i saw that shot i thought that it looked like the Narrows but i dismissed it, Why nick that shot from the movie?

I think Lana was in Gotham looking for Batman. :batty:

Maybe Lois isn't the only one with a fondness for superheroes.

Thsi is the second time the show teases with something of the Bat-world.

First the direct reference to Gotham in Reunion and then the images in Fallout.

On the other hand, the response of SDK in his myspace saying the Bat-embargo wasn't been lifted YET gives me a little hope for a Bruce Wayne appearence sometime in season 7, maybe a two-part episode in Gotham during Clark's travels around the world, simply because SDK's affirmattion gives me the idea of the producers of the show keep trying that bat-embargo to be over.

well I can dream, can't I?

is the rule taht Batman can't go to smallville or he can't appear on smallville?
