That was a terrific set of songs and usage in that show.

In general, there are quite a few soundtracks to animes that make you feel that makes you want to bring the composers to Hollywood. Especially the directors/studio for FLCL, Gunbuster 2, and Gurren Lagann. Durarara also had an outstanding soundtrack.

This is one of my favorite tracks from Durarara. It's hauntingly beautiful.



Saika/Anri's theme basically.

All of it's great....from the Chopin-eque classical main piece to the jazz passages, to that haunting and disturbing 'slasher' theme. Just a really unique approach to an anime soundtrack altogether....especially since it's such an urban/contemporary and youth-based setting.
