I'm not joking.

Walking out of Kroger at 10:30 and a homeless man comes up to me and wants to shake my hand, I reply "I'm in a rush" and try to walk by him. He then grabs my hand and says "I'll shake your wrist then."

At this point I was a little scared

Then he asks me if I have any money and I hand him the change that I put in my grocery bag (about $1.30). He then says "I know you've got more"

Now I'm really getting scared :csad:

He follows that up with "Are you bisexual?"

"No"

"Gay?"

"No... I've really got to go"

"Oh, well, I'd like to satisfy for you for a little extra"

My car was just a few feet away, I just turned and got the **** out of there.

As was walking away he says "I can give you number if you want, so you can score."

There was no one in the parking lot, and it was just him and me. I was really quite scared he was going to mug me or even sexually assualt me. I was shaking on the drive home, there was no telling what he had on him, maybe a knife or worse an infected hypodermic, I wasn't going to find out.

Poor guy. :csad: Did you suggest any shelters or point him in the direction of any nearby churches?

He deserves our prayers.

**** that, dude. You should've punched his lights out and called the cops.

He's a human being, man. Can you even imagine that ***tty live he has to live, where he has to degrade himself just to get enough to eat?

He didn't hurt the guy, just creeped him out.

You made a mistake by acknowledging him, if you don't want to be "harassed" you need to totally ignore homeless people. Now, before anyone calls me an @$$hole, I realize what I said was harsh, but I live and work in Chicago and have to pass by many homeless people every day. I do feel bad, but you can't help everyone and who do you decide who to help and who not to.

Even the homeless reject my advances, so you're still better off then me.

Harrassing a young man for money in exchange for sexual acts is the most pathetic last resort. I don't care how ****ty his life is.

Yeah they are homeless remember. They have no right to force you to give them anything. Sure sometimes their situation isn't their fault, but other people have problems too. They just don't realise that people have to fend for themselves.

Well, what would you do in his situation? Starve? I think not - your biological impulses wouldn't allow it.

Go to a soup kitchen. Or ask for money politely.

"Excuse me. Could you spare some change so I could get myself some food?"
"I don't have any."
"Oh well thanks anyway. Sorry to bother you."

You'd be much more likely to get money that way than:

*Grabs man's hand*
"Do you have money?"
"No."
"I know you do. Want a ******* for it?"

When have you ever known me to be serious?

Exactly. If they want your money, there are politer ways of going about it. A tip: freaking out anybody that walks by and offering sexual acts for money is not the way.

Fine - you go without food or shelter or baths or friendship for 72 hours, and then let's see how much strength you have left to be polite.

Or, you can just accept the fact that the man could've (and should've) asked politely instead of harrassing The Avatar.
