Well, my choices probably come from not 'understanding' the characters and not reading the runs they are currently apart of, that, or the perception that these characters aren't being written as interestingly as they have been in the past.

As much as I loathe to say it... Hudlin's "new and improved" Storm. Optic you are sooo right about it. Marvel needs her back on the X-rosters where she belongs. (If it ain't broke don't fix it.)

Beast-he needs to go the way of his Ultimate counter-part.

Bishop-he needs to do something, or leave. Taking up panel space is stupid.

I would have added Rogue but it looks like carey is going to do something cool with her.

Gambit seems to be a very very hard character to write (like Bishop, Iceman and Sage) If you can't get him write, give him to someone that can!

And Wolverine.. while I am not saying that he needs more exposure, I feel that Whedon has not done anything hugely interesting with him yet as part of an ensemble team. But it is kind of a moot point seeing we have two ongoings, new avengers and about a thousand other team-ups that 'delve into the inner workings' of this character.

Man yall are listing my favorite x-men: Gambit #1, Iceman #2, Nightcrawler #3, and Colosus #4 are my favs.

Who i want off would have to be Beast in his dumb cat form.

I also realize i don't read the current comics so while gambit is my favorite he could be sucking for the past few years.

Oh and to the poster who didn't get him go pick up the first few issues of his own title Remy owns all other mutants he is so cool.

A lot of you people must be forgetting that this is for the "least favorite roster members"...not "how can you hate this character, they are awesome!". I kinda feel like if that were the inspiration for this thread, it oughtta be simple discussion threads for each character.

Meh...

Rachel Grey - Seriously, the reasons have all but been stated. Her arc, to me, ended when she disappeared in Excalibur 75 to save Captain Britain.

Storm - Just...I don't know. She's a strong black female character yet all she's doing now is serving as a foil to another strong black male character. While I enjoy the interaction, there's really not that many strong black characters in Marvel...I kinda would like to see them spread out more.

Nightcrawler - I love the character by design...but he's so boringly written anymore.

Iceman - Would somebody please just take this guy and give him something worthy of what his potential is? I've not been able to read him and his Polaris and Havok interaction. Gah.

Psylocke - It just seems like Claremont has been trying to shove her down our throats to me...it's really turned me off of her. The last time I really liked her was when she was coming on to Cyclops. Aaaaaages ago.

There may be more...but a great deal of them are in Uncanny and X-Men, and thank God I only read Astonishing anymore.

Storm is definitely one of the characters I can't stand these days. I'm drawing a blank however when it comes to other characters. Jean Grey doesn't always jibe with me either, I'll say, and Gambit hasn't really been up to snuff lately.

Since we're holding nothing back, I for one wouldlove to see Emma go. She does nothing for me. I am hoping that the end result of the present Astonishing arc is her going out the door.
