Does anyone know if there's a complete list of who all the playable/unlockable characters will be in this one? (I've seen some partial lists, but I don't think a complete list)

The Lego Wikia is a good place to start. Doesn't have a complete list, but has everyone revealed.

Also, as a followup the folowing video has the character grid (20 minute mark), with not all the characters revealed yet, but I guess knowledgeable Marvel fans (not me) can probably figure out who fits in between the revealed characters, like Black Panther in between Black Goliath and Black Widow.

There should be stuff from Iron Man 3 and Thor Dark World as well in the story mode. I imagine there will be about 20 story missions, 6 each for the 2 avengers films and 2 each for the other 4 movies.

Really excited for this as I love the Lego games, and there has been a severe lack of Marvel games.

Sweet, Hulk has an actual high jump in this game.
The lack of it is one thing I really dislike about the first game.

And Manhattan is still available in free roam, not scaled down, along with more areas.

Saw the trophy list. Only 15 stages in the story mode part of the game. Not sure if there are any hub stages like in the last Lego Marvel game.

It feels weird that their is so little information about the Season Pass. When Lego Batman 3 came out, they had already shown what characters were in the Man of Steel, Arrow, Dark Knight Trilogy and 75th anniversary packs.

LEGO Marvel’s Avengers Getting Free DLC Exclusively for PS4, PS3

what is this content exactly, and what makes it so exciting? Well, first up we have the Captain America: Civil War Character Pack, which will be available at launch on January 26th and includes nine characters — yes, nine characters — featured in the upcoming movie: Captain America, Iron Man (Mark 46 armor), Black Panther, Winter Soldier, Falcon, War Machine, Scarlet Witch and my personal favorites, Crossbones and Agent 13. It’s a great pack that will hopefully get everyone as excited as I am about the film. Obviously before you ask, yes, you will be able to take all of these characters into the main game, into the various levels or into the eight different open world locations.

The second is the Ant-Man Character & Level Pack, of course based on the Ant-Man movie, which will be available later this spring. This pack features an awesome level based on a section of the film. It also has eleven great characters, including Ant-Man (Scott Lang), Ant-Man (Hank Pym), Ant-Thony (Flying Ant), Cassie Lang, Darren Cross, Scott Lang, Hank Pym, Hope Van Dyne, Luis, The Wasp (Janet Van Dyne), and Yellowjacket.

As far as I can tell, no word yet on whether this DLC content will be made available (later) to other platforms. Though even if it is, I'm not holding my breath that it'll be available for the WiiU (platform I have) - it always seem to get neglected when it comes to DLC content for 3rd party games *sigh*

Well, that answers at least part of my question. Still not holding my breath that WiiU will have the DLC available though.

As a PS4 owner, I'm excited about the exclusive content, but I definitely understand XBox/ Wii owners being upset about it.

I'm still surprised we haven't heard anything about the various packs in the season pass. The Brickipedia says they are based on Agents of SHIELD, Black Panther, Captain Marvel, Dr. Strange and the Masters of Evil, but I'd really like to know more.

Hopefully we get Wonder Man as part of the Masters of Evil pack.

He's not listed on Brickipedia. Citizen V is part of the Thunderbolts preorder DLC and I'd guess he'd be in the Masters of Evil pack. At least hope we get that original version with Zemo, Enchantress, Executioner, Wonder Man, etc.
