I've spent my day slogging through LUKE CAGE... I loved DD and JJ to pieces. But I literally could not raise any enthusiasm to get past episode three for months. I stopped at episode ten and... It's kinda a massive disappointment in many ways but not cuz it's out and out terrible. It's just a chore to get through, oddly paced and unfocused in it's story. Colter is still a great fit but the series is just not all that engaging.

With DD and JJ I could not wait for the next episode. CAGE? Not so much.

So I was ordering some stuff online a few days ago using a pre-paid credit card and I got a message today saying that the company I placed the order with had canceled the order unless I give them certain info.

They wanted: A picture of my ID Card/Drivers license, a picture of the transaction list of the credit card for the last month and a picture of the card itself.

I told them to stuff it and refund my money and I'm in the process of cancelling the purchase on the card itself. **** those guys. I know a guy who bought stuff from them and he never said anything about that.

With DD and JJ I could not wait for the next episode. CAGE? Not so much.

Cage was fine to me, nothing special, it shambled around, it was a bit of a slog and Misty was a ****ing idiot of a human being in the end, but JJ was like pulling teeth. Thomas Harris has a better time writing books than I had watching JJ.

At this point it'll be Daredevil season 3, Iron Fist and the Punisher series for me. Luke Cage had potential but ehhhhhhhhhhh

I liked it. Like I've said. Not sure why either, I was never a HUGE Cage fan no matter what they called him

I just realized why Anakin killed those kids. One of the kids addressed Anakin as Master Skywalker. Earlier in the movie Anakin was mad that the Jedi Council invited him to be a member but they didn't promote him to the rank of master. That kid calling Anakin a master reminded him about one of the reasons he hates the Jedi so it made him mad and he killed a bunch of younglings.

well, i slept for almost 19 hours straight, and after a couple hours in the ER, it turns out i officially have the flu, am contagious, and can't go back to work until monday.

Uh... well yes, going to the ER, is generally considered a bad thing yes.

i wasn't sure where you were going with it lol
but yeah. i felt fine when i woke up tuesday, but my voice was going as the day went on. by the time i was getting off at 1030pm, i was useless. i came home, tried to eat dinner, couldn't, got through one ep of DD S2 and then next thing i knew, it was 7pm Wednesday night. i vaguely remember waking up in small spells throughout the day.
when i got to ER, my temp was 100. my bp was 145/81 and i was sweating like crazy, despite being pretty chilly. i think i sweat off ten pounds today
