Another character that I'm really looking forward to. Silver Samurai is one of the most well-known enemies of Wolverine in the comics. He was a playable character in the videogames made by Capcom and he was a boss in the tie-in videogame for X3. He also had an appearance in the 90s cartoon series and the story of the episode that he was included is similar to this upcoming movie, The Wolverine. I can't wait to see how bad-ass villain he is.

Hopefully after the trailer is released. FOX would release an official screenshot of him, so we could see the whole look of his armor.

I've not read the comic the movie is supposed to be adapting, but I know that Silver Samurai is still around in the comics. I'm wondering if the film version of SS will make it through the movie alive despite being a major antagonist.

I wouldn't mind seeing Wolverine spare him if he's beaten, but I doubt we'd see SS in another x-movie.

Well since this is supposed to be a stand-alone movie, I hope Silver Samurai will only appear in this movie. Villains are cool, but some of them don't need to comeback for a 2nd movie especially if they are not going to have a big role in the next one.

Just knowing that SS is still alive and around in that universe will be enough for me.

This is something I noticed when the first 6 second preview came out:



I noticed that it's a different helmet and probably a different outfit from the one we saw on set. So it looks like SS will have a more modernized one (the one from the Tweezer) and the more traditional one from the set pic.

The tweezer screengab looks so much better. I'm glad its different compare to the set pic.

It's a completely different helmet. Looks like it's just two different costumes. He'll probably update his suit after suffering a loss against Wolverine initially (I'm assuming).

Yeah and I think the first time SS fights with Wolverine, Wolverine will still heal but once Viper (temporarily?) disabled Wolverine's healing power and SS gets a chance to fight Wolverine again, he could really damage Wolverine. Well this is just pure speculation.

Looks like the costume from the spy pics. That and the separate costume seems to pretty much confirm a costume change and some point. Plus it's obvious that Wolverine rips off that costume during the fight since we see without much of the armour when he cuts Wolverine's cheek with his sword.

So, there will be 2 different armors in the movie. The samurai fighting is the same armour as the set pic, and then there's a more ultimate armor from the tailer seen from behind. They're very diferent.

Dude looks sweet. Looking forward to see his 2nd armor. It'll probably be made out of something that can withstand Logan's claws. Otherwise I see no point in the armor change.

Silver Samurai looks AMAZING, probably more true to source material than any pervious X-Men villain.

Hopefully he's the one that knocks Wolvie through that wall at the end of the trailer.

Yeah I only noticed that I misspelled his name when I already hit the post button.

I expected more from SS in the trailer but at least we got a see his armor's face in the international trailer.

hopefully they'll ignore the teleportation ring. But I wonder will this kenuichio be a mutant or not? Hmm. Maybe his sword will have an electrified touch.

Silver Samurai could just be a fighter with great fighting skills. But if he's working with Viper, I could see him having some weapons like a sword with an electrified touch. Its not clear yet because correct me if I'm wrong, someone said that Wolverine is the only mutant in the script.

I really hope Silver Samurai will be a mutant after all. I really want him to use his tachyon field and be able to cut virtually through anything.
