I more of the 'damn glass is broke and the car bomb is spilling on the bar' type of girl, but I figure if you don't aim to high, you won't fall to far. The only reason I am pessimistic about the movie is because marvel has taken real good characters (Daredevil, Elecktra, and sadly Punisher) that have some what simple stories and completly **** them up, or dumb them down so much that they are barely recognizable. I hope, I mean I really want to hope, that the movie is good, but it most likely will not happen.

isn't this movie going to be one of the first installments from the indipendant Marvel production studios though?
if it IS, that would be fantastic!
you KNOW Marvel won't **** it up! they'll have too much to lose from their fans. but if it's not, it's quite possible that this movie could be to commecial and tamed down like the prior XMen movies. boo hoo.
and I like the "car bomb leaking all over the table" analogy.

Yeah, Wolverine will be one big commerical, with placement ads everywhere. They will make it PG-13 to increase possivble audience size, which is in itself blasphmey(sp). I just hope that it is a decent movie, one that you can watch without hitting the person next to you in anger, but one that is enjoyable to watch, regardless of whether it follows the story, comic or otherwise.
