I've been seeing a commercial that has another classic physical gag. Yeah, I think this will be pretty good.

Hopefully one that hasn't been hammered to death in the Austin Powers films.

I wonder how they would have done Nordberg had they done a 4th Naked Gun while Leslie Nielsen and George Kennedy were still alive. My idea was that Nordberg spends the entire 4th movie hospitalized with bandages from head to toe after he was shot and it's revealed he has to have plastic surgery to fix his face and near the end of the movie its a few days later and Frank (Nielsen) and Ed (Kennedy) visit and the doctor tells them that while they were giving him a new face, they accidentally gave him a new voice, so Ed and Frank walk into the hospital as they remove the bandages on his face and he shows off his new face and voice. Now there were two options I had in mind for Nordberg's new look and voice: Samuel L. Jackson and Carl Weathers. Both were the same age as OJ Simpson but with less controversy. That way they could have kept Nordberg and it would have been a creative way to recast the character.

The "cover me" gag was used in one of those Police Squad ads. If you haven't seen them, I highly recommend them!

I remember early in this thread it was rumors of Ed Helms as Frank but after seeing clips and the trailers I am glad they cast Liam as Frank he is gonna be hilariously awesome in this looking forward to it next week.

I wish you hadn't reminded me because I could see Ed Helms as Leslie's kid. :hehe:

It's written by Rachel Bloom of Crazy Ex-girlfriend 's husband, who was a long time staff writer on that very excellent show, and also wrote that much better than it had any right to be Chip N Dale movie.

It's nice when the cool people in Hollywood succeed.

That’s wild.
