Days of Future Past Lines from previous movies that may appear in XMFC

The most classic trope that prequels tend to use is throwing in lines of dialogue that would later be used in heard in the later films.


Now, I'm not sure how much XMFC will directly hint, foreshadow, or mirror many events of the first films, but from what we've gathered so far, there seems to be a lot of it here and there.

As lines of dialogue go, what kind of lines do you think COULD appear in XMFC?

I have a few off the top of my head:

"Why do you ask questions when you already know the answers?"

"This helmet is the only thing that's going to protect me from the REAL bad guys"

"Are you a God-fearing, man?"

Not sure if they'll keep any of the dialogue the same but it looks like they're going to replicate the chessboard scene between Professor X and Magneto at some point during the film.

Magneto loses the game in X1, but maybe he wins in this movie..

I think they can probably incorporate a few of the scenes between the Professor and Magneto, even if they switch around a few words. For example...

Magneto: [pointing to his head] Are you sneaking around in here, Charles? Whatever are you looking for?
Prof. Charles Francis Xavier: I'm looking for hope.
Magneto: I will bring you hope, old friend, and I ask only one thing in return - don't get in my way.
[walks away]
Magneto: We are the future, Charles, not them. They no longer matter.


On a side note, I'd love some witty Emma quotes from the comics.

don't think they would try to reuse dialog to do a wink to the other movies, seems like something you would do if you had more time between films. or if singer wasn't involved. it's just a cheesy thing to do

I do hope we don't have repeated dialogue. I don't need to be bludgeoned over the head with character connections. It would be a bit lazy to have them saying the same stuff they've already said (or, rather, will say later in their lives).
