BvS List what you DONT want in the movie.

I watched MOS again. Lacks charm and comedy. It even had less humor than all of The Dark Knight movies. You can probably list them.

1. The Daily Planet's Lois Lane knows who this guy is
(Hilarious, this was I believe the first comedic moment and wish there was more as funny as this)
2. Priest's reaction. "The ship that appeared last night. I'm the one they're looking for."
(This moment was probably the biggest laugh we ever got out of the entire film)
3. While very, very small, it could have had a little more humor added to this particular scene...the interogation scene with Lois, Dr. Hamilton and the military. "You let them hand cuff you?""And if it makes them feel more secure..." Small laugh. Then when Superman interupts Hamilton and says "Emil Hamilton. I know. I can see your ID tag under your breast pocket. I can also see the squad of soldiers in the room preparing that tranquilizer of yours."

Then breaking the cuffs off again, scaring them.

Again, I don't want this movie to be humorless.

Irony: Calling a movie "humorless" and then giving examples of humor in it.

wrong thread.seriously

I want Bats to win a fight and Supes to win a fight.

Yeah, I agree with that. Although some of the stuff in that BvS script discussed on Badass Digest sounded pretty good, other things sounded like they were apologizing for the controversial stuff in MOS. And yes, there are things that could have been better, I'd rather Snyder & Co. just say "F*** the haters" and just try and make the best movie here as possible without trying to placate a bunch of nitpickers who will likely just find new reasons to complain about this film anyway.

I'd say there's a difference between "apologizing" and incorporating the real life dialogue around the movie into the various characters' points of view. I think the destruction in Metropolis angle was always meant to be followed up with Lex, before the movie got lambasted for it.

It's true though, this movie is gonna get lots of crap from people no matter what it does. Guess that's what happens when you kick off this entire franchise with a controversial film. Ultimately I agree that they need to just focus on making the best film they can and get overly concerned about who they're offending.

No Wondy/Lois/Supes love triangle. Oh god no. I trust Amy's words on this.

Well you should she said it from the moment Gal was cast and when she was doing her interviews for American Hustle she wasn't interested in crappy triangles or cat fights. That and she just finished filming I think she knows what will and won't happen. :funny:

Agreed. Clearly, much like the movie cynics themselves, Lex was going to blame Superman along with the Kryptonians for the destruction.
