Understanding The Point
Remember all those classic superhero films in the past century? In the 20th Century, there were lots and lots of great live-action comic book film adaptations such as; The Phantom (1996), Rocketeer (1991), Super Mario Bros. (1991), Mortal Kombat (1995), RoboCop (1987), Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1990), Steel (1997), The Mask (1994), and others. Being a superhero fan, would you want to see remakes of those classic past films, as greatly action-packed superhero films as good as The Dark Knight, Spider-Man 3, or Iron Man? If you do, you can post some of your ideas. Your ideas can have plots, photo-manipulations, casting calls or more!

i wouldn't mind seeing a second rocketeer movie

1800's!? :wow: I never knew there were superheroes then let alone superhero films!

I guess the League of Extraordinary Gentleman actually took place.....it was a documentary!!!!!:wow:

Nah. I think they've said all they need to say with those. And we're in the 21st century. There was never a 19th century superhero film.

John Carter on Mars could be cool. It was Edgar Rice Burrough's first hero before Tarzan.

Guyver would be cool, but I'd prefer it'd be made somewhere closer to home (kinda like the awesome Death Note movies)

Supposedly a new Phantom movie is in the works under the title "The Ghost that Walks" or something.

And I am a heavy supporter of a new Rocketeer film. Such a great film that could have such great potential if it was let lose from Disney. Unfortunately its the kind of film that would probably be done in the Sin City, 300, Speed Racer style that I'm not really a fan of. It worked for those films (except Speed), but I'd prefer the Rocketeer in real life.

The next Shadow should be closer to the pulps.

It should explore the Kent Allard Shadow.
