Sequels Lizard in Spider-Man 4? Found something in the book

In the book on page 236 it says " Peter notcied a chart on different types of lizards in doctor connors office and a anatomical model for a lizard nearby. He considered that rather curious since to the best of his knowledge dr connors was no herpetologist. So what could he be doing with lizards"?

I think its really cool how this is in the book and hopefully in the movie

Yeah they tend to do this, I believe the Lizard was actually one of the villians planned for the second movie but thought not because of what a great challange he opposed Peter with and he wasn't mature enough to take on the task.

In the first movie novel when Peter gets fired from working with Connors. Peter wishes the Lizard he was holding in a cage would bite him and turn him into a giant man lizard to see what Peter has to deal with when being Spider-Man.

Thanks for posting this though, i'm not going to read the novel or the game until I see the movie.

If you just sit back and think about it, what comic book franchise actually has fanboys wanting to see a THIRD movie, and yet wanting to see a FOURTH film, as well? By now, most people (fans & casual movie goers) wouldn't even be interested in seeing a third.

I love seeing Curt Connors again in the trailers, it screams THE LIZARD for SM4.

There's not much to think about when you're seeing awesome footage on a movie that hasn't been released yet. However, what it does do is, give high hopes for a future installment, especially if it involves a character that most people want to see that has been built up since the 1st movie.

I don't want a highly emotional spider-man movie with the lizard. What I do want is, a combination of stories loosely based on kraven's last hunt from the comics and night of the lizard from the 90s animated series. Each bringing in elements of intense and compelling drama and strong determination.

There is a small reference in the trailer so perhaps this is true.I hope it is because i love easter eggs like that. (Though it should be noted that whatever is in in the novel doesn't mean it will be in the film)

They wanted him (Lizard) in SM2 as well but i think that was ditched and probably rightfully so.After appearing in 3 movies (he was mentioned in the first) it would seem fitting to have Connors as the next villain.He's certainly what i would categorize as one of the classic Spidey rogues.

I believe both Lizard and Electro could work very well in Spidey 4, but I just think there is no need in another film.

Maybe not but a story revolving around the Lizard and Kraven would be awesome. There would be no need to have a stand alone Kraven film, but what better way to include him than him hunting the Lizard?

this really does give us a BIG hint about the lizard in spidey4. it juat keeps giving me a feel of aprooval that the lizard will in fact be in spidey4 and will without a doubt raise hell and kick the crap out of spidey. not to mentiomn that I'm sure that us fans will be extremley happy when we find out that SAM wants to use the lizard considering he is a classic vilian.

I think using the lizard and Rhino as villians would work, and maybe throwing in electro in there. I dont think shocker or kraven would make good villains.

If I had my wish, Carnage and Venom would be in Spidey 3, no sandman

In the Novel of the second movie Doc Conners was trying to conduct further research on Lizards DNA, When his friend Otto Octavius had come into his lab and interrupted him .(during his talk with otto he mentions How Peter Parker has the potential to be a brilliant scientist, but is lazy .)

If you want my input and I'm totally being serious I think the Lizard has the ability to kick the S**T out of every Spider-Man villian he had to face. None of Spider-Man's villians have the abilities the Lizard has and thats what is cool.

The lizard is very strong, he is capable of lifting 24,000 pounds *12 tons* while Spider-Man can only lift 20,000 *10 tons*

The Lizard has the ability to regenerate so Spider-Man has to constantly be hitting him in order to bring him down or else twenty seconds later Lizard would be brand new.

Also the Lizard doesn't fear fatigue, he never gets tired and is constantly on the move capable of reaching speeds of forty-five miles per hour. He likes to play with his victims by wearing them down before making the killing blow so they don't put up a struggle.

Also if the Lizard had his limbs cut off they would simply grow back just like a real lizard's. He also has one-inch claws that can slash through concrete.

There are many things that go into play with the Lizard that I can tell you about, he is faster and stronger than Spider-Man could ever be. He also possesses a 6 1/2 foot long tail that has immense physical strength that can whip at speeds of 45 miles per hour being able to crush a human being like a sludge hammer to a car door?
