Loved it. I was actually watching that film a day ago. Really enjoyed the Lobo/Superman fight scenes!

I really want Brainiac as the villain in MOS2, but imagine if Lobo was the physical threat. Perhaps the last Czarnian could be a specimen collected by Brainiac. Brainiac could orchestrate a fight between the last Kryptonian and the last Czarnian. The physical Brainiac could actually be very meek, his power would come from the creatures he has collected and technology he controls.

Lobo should be also, but not quite on the level of superman, but still close nevertheless.

It has to be someone who can weave space opera, dark humor, and big action on earth, into a cohesive story.

I mean he He rides a space Harley for crying out loud lol.
He's an intergalactic bounty hunter.
So, for me, It will need to be a blend of sons of anarchy, a western, and star wars all rolled into one.
No easy task.
Jon Favreau maybe?

If we only get one Lobo movie, this is the story I want to see.

Since when is Lobo a character with substance though? He literally was created to be a joke that parodies comics that trot out shallow violence and the irony is that people took the parody seriously.

Don't doubt the Daniels have met with every studio in town for their Everything Everywhere All At Once follow-up.

Were I the exec in charge of the Warners meeting, I would not only say "Come here and we'll do anything you want" but I'd also see if they were interested in one of our big properties that could use some fresh blood, is in desperate need of an overhaul and they seem like a great fit for.
