Now to answer the real questions about Wolverine, which movie version of his hair is best:

The Tokyo Split. Without a doubt. Followed closely by The Flat Top.

The Tokyo Split image is actually everything I want from Wolverine in one photo.

Yeah easily the Tokyo split.. That hair screams Wolverine to me.

Definitely the X-Men Origins hair. I hate the others because it looks like Logan wakes up and styles his hair before going on with his day.

Agreed!

I like the Birdsnest, it actually looks like an eagle has landed on his head.

It's funny on the Sky 1 interview with Hugh Jackman they showed clips from the previous X-Men films and I kept thinking his much better it looked in the Wolverine after he's had it cut.

That's pretty contradictory because the Origins hair looks like he went to the salon every morning to get it styled.

Not at all. Get a decent haircut and let it grow out, then do some basic styling and it'd look kinda like that. I could buy that he just woke up and threw his hair back, but the rest of them? Nope. Looks more like he woke up extra early and put some hairspray/wax/gel/etc. to get it to look that way.

The Tokyo split is the second best haircut, the Birdnest is by far the worst.

Id rename the second one Elvis, its so much more like elvis. Take a look at the tent scene again in X2, when Mystique enters. The first is really more natural looking. The best in the series so far, followed by The Wolverines look.

The Wolverine hair. Probably biased since it's the most recent one, but it feels the most appropriate to the character. Although each certainly parallels the state of Logan int he films.

Agreed on both counts...that picture looks like it was pulled straight out of a comic book page.

Have to go with the Elvis, X-Men 1 look. That is vintage Wolverine.

He looks better as the "crack addict" than he did in the X-men 3 shot, seriously.

Lmao, the "Crack Addict" one should've been called the "Caveman"

Definitely.

I have rarely seen an actor just completely nail a comic book character in terms of physicality and performance as we've seen in this film. It's superb.

The look in The Wolverine.

I had always wished they went the simpler route here. While fine for a comic book, Logans owl hairdo is silly looking on a real person. I always felt they would have been better off doing something like this w/ the sideburns, as it fits in with Logan bikerstyle anyway....

Exactly, and things like this bother me to no end, and pull me out of a movie. Its like in X2, Nightcrawler is living as a derelict in a abandoned church, but can afford tons of hair gel I guess becuase his head is covered in the stuff.

Definitely the Tokyo Split. The 3 X-Men films it's like they were trying too hard to get his classic iconic long hair 'wings' which - I'm sorry - just don't work in live action (not for me anyways). The Tokyo split is short enough (and given the situation in which his hair got cut) having the little bits stick out a little doesn't look hokey and it just....works.

If I had to pick a second, I'd probably go with the 80's wave simply because, while still long, they didn't overdo it with the wings and it looks more just naturally swept back.

I was rather a fan of the Crack Addict Logan...But Tokyo split was best.

He looked...nice

The Elvis is my favourite, the most 'natural' looking comic-book hair. Tokyo split next up because it looks great and my hair does that when short, when I wake up. Except mine's blonde.

Absolutely hated the birdsnest, utter tripe and The Wave was far too supermodel.

While X2 was my favourite film I still chuckle when I see him at Alkali Lake with the wolf hehehe

I currently look like a mix of crack addict (length, beard) and Wave (I wash it :D )

I hated the movie, but I'll have to go with origins hair on this

The Wolverine just looked like a normal haircut with bed head, but it was ok
X1 hair wasn't bad

Then X2 and X3 are at the bottom, just awful awful wigs
