Loki LOKI General Discussion Thread

I wonder why they never adapted Enchantress yet. 4 Thor movies, 2 seasons of Loki and a bunch of mcu projects in between.

I'm also curious if they will eventually do a physical release for the other shows. There's still no official physical release for She Hulk, Ms. Marvel and Secret Invasion. Ultimately, it should be the goal but who knows if these blu rays would be selling well in 2 years.

Maybe they'll get around to Enchantress in Thor 5?

Due to the huge disappointment that Daredevil: Born Again was for me I went back to this series and rewatched the second season.
The ending answered the question “what makes a Loki, Loki?”
I have heard it said several times over the years that the strength of the S2 finale is that Loki goes from wanting a throne he doesn't have to having a throne he didn't want, but I don't particularly agree.

What defines Loki as a Loki is not being categorized as a hero, a villain. What has characterized his growth along the way is the virtue of sacrifice. He has never backed down when it mattered.

So Loki doesn't go from wanting a throne he doesn't have to having a throne, but from not wanting a throne, but thinking he has to have one to be considered worthy and equal to Thor, to accepting a throne even though he doesn't want it, because it was the right thing to do.

It's not Loki who changes, he has always sacrificed himself when necessary, but the way the viewer looks at him.
He is finally worthy in our eyes, but he always has been.
The problem was that we couldn't see it.
Like Odin before us.

The perfect ending for the greatest hero in the Marvel multiverse because, in the end, a villain in someone's story can be hero in another one's.

Two episodes left to go. Really late catching up on the films and tv.
I've seen the comments that it is a mess but... yeah... its a mess.
I loved Season One. So kind of... huh!? with Season Two.

I can rewatch the Marvel films (whether Fox, Sony, Disney or Other) but the TV, definitely always has been a chore. Watching this after Secret Invasion. I think I liked Secret Invasion a bit more.

Tv shows are generally longer.

The entire series of Agents of Shield is probably still longer than 36 MCU films combined.

And Agents of Shield never felt like a chore, even when I was catching up, or if I wasn't feeling the story (and I wasn't really into the story the last season).
