Batman Begins Lost Scenes :(

I heard that on the Ultimate Release Special Edition thats going to be released on the 5 Year Anniversary of the release of Begins that they are including the ultra secret scene at the end where Ra's body is recovered by Talia and put into the Lazarus Pit. :/

I'm sure they will have a Director's Cut or an ultra special edition of Batman Begins in the future. It would feature lost or deleted scenes... extended scenes... and a couple commentary tracks. I'm betting that they will release something like this when the Begins sequel comes out... and possibally include a ticket to see the new film?

and the sad note is; the superman dvd will probably also be stripped of loads of features.

It gives people more reason to buy the HD-DVD/BlueRay 's of the current movies. Hence why the deluxe was a limited edition.

Its sad, but true.

I wish this was the truth

I would definitely want some commentary from Nolan and Goyer. It would also be nice to have some commentary from the cast as well. Overall, I thought the DVD release was great. The Special editions of the other films were great too. But I'm not a huge fan of Tim Burton's commentary....bored the heck out of me...lol.

Well even though the SE dvd had some good stuff in it, the featurettes were kind off vague when it came to giving info of how the film was made. There were small pieces of each element here and there but nothing really profound,I mean begins wasn't really an Fx driven film but still had qwuite some cgi in it great and unoticable cgi of course,si there should be quite some featurettes of it. Okay let me give an ex:

9 Deleted extended scenes

3 trailers

5 tv spots

writter director commentary

10 minute first look:batman 2(whatever the name is)

know no one can say that a new SE can't be made,Iam sure alot of you would buy it,specially with the BTS look at the sequel.

we want deleted scenes!? That flick was so satisfying not once did i ask for deleted scenes lol

I still remina that th only thing that should be reinsterted into the film. Is the full scarecrow scenes. It owuld make him a much stronger character. And make the film perfect IMO

So true, but it would be cool to get some extra scenes as a bonus.

Yeah, I keep hearing about how they had to tone down the Scarecrow....

I've been so pissed about it after seeing that video from the effects company. So much good stuff.

Yeah, there was a link somewhere......

Bah, I do remember seeing these really creepy maggots falling off his mask. It was a much longer pasue to when the elevator shaft opened...he just stood there....and stared.....it was...creepy.

To think, we didn't even SEE stage 2 Scarecrow. Word on the street was he was mad freaky looking.

This stage 2 Scarecrow seems more like an urban legend to me.......I've never seen anything solid of him. Only a concept art.

In addition to what's been named on this thread so far, here's what else I'd love to see on a SE:

1. The fight scenes as they were originally filmed. For instance, Moulin Rouge chopped hell out of their dance scenes, though not as much as BB did out of their fight scenes. You know what the 2-disc DVD of MR did? Showed the dance scenes uncut. From multiple angles, to boot. That would so rock for the fight choreography in BB.

2. Outtakes/blooper reels. There's got to be some, right?

3. Commentaries. Because it's worth repeating.

I can't believe you mentioned Moulin Rouge in the same sentence as Batman Begins............

There might be bloopers.....but, maybe not since they're trying to erase all the joky joky feel....but it'd be cool.

I'm wondering....anyone know if there's a scene missing between the elevator, Mansion buring down scene and when Bruce suits up? I mean...he was bleeding, and then it seemed to get taken cared of.

I agree and, personally, I don't care if I see it. It just isn't relevant to me.

Someone posted this pic on these boards after the movie release, allegedly being the stage 2 Scarecrow:

I don't know why people post that. It's not actually from Batman Begins. It's a stupid display prop from the Orlando, Universal Studios House of Horror from the 1990's. It's supposed to be one of the demon dummy faces from the Children of the Corn.
That's why I said allegedly...
However, I didn't know what was this, thank you for the info.

Well Stage 2 looked similar. Jett over at BoF saw it, made a sketch of it...and released it. It would've looked very similar to that mask.

But, does anyone know if anything was filmed? I imagine it's something that could have been left in the pre-production floor.
