Yes but YouTube shouldn't be one of those things. I guess you could call me a hypocrite, except I don't monetize my videos because I don't want to make money, I just want to make a community of comic book fans.
If you don't see them you must not go on youtube much or you stay away from cancerous vids which is good

I think its fine if people can supplement or entirely replace their income with money from the internet as long as its not a scam or anything.

If someone can make money from doing a series like their own views on the news, playing video games to entertain people or fashion tips then I don't see the problem.

Yes but only if they are passionate about it and not just doing it for the money otherwise it's just unfair for the people who are actually passionate about it.

You can be as passionate as you want about anything but that doesn't mean anyone is going to be interested in what you do.

If you can make the thing exciting and fun then even if you hate the subject, people will still come and be interested.

I just hate how YouTube has turned into a money making service instead of a hobby. People who make videos just for money and not because they actually like it shouldn't be payed.
