In the age of sequels, nothing has a definitive ending.

See, I knew there was a reason I like you E-Man!!! :yay: Stranger Things is masterful show, one that I've not seen in a looooong time.

I really enjoyed ST but kind of wished the ending had been more definitive.

Now, Now, Krypton.....We all can't have our cake & eat it too. :o

Seriously though, I absolutely LOVED the show & the way it ended cliff hanger style to leave open for Season 2 playfully hinting at Eleven's return.

If you want a really good 80's tv show, watch Star Trek The Next Generation.

Seen it from Season 1 to Season, end to end. I actually have the seasons on Blu ray & dvd. One of my favorite episodes is The Inner Light. It's a quite sad & bittersweet story.

I'm watching the series for the first time right now and I'm on season 3 episode 20. My favorite episode so far is "Measure of a Man".

That's the one where Starfleet think Data is a property or thing that belongs to them, whereas Picard argues Data is a sentient being & should be allowed to have his "freedom'.

Another good episode is The Drumhead.

Wow. I thought you were a longtime fan given all the stuff you post. A big consensus is that the first two seasons are rough but things pick up dramatically in season three and from there it's smooth sailing. You are on or close to those better episodes yet?

Eh... I really enjoyed the show but I would prefer the Duffers give us something new in a second season. Make the show a season long anthology thing under the STRANGER THINGS umbrella. I understand wanting to see the cast again ect. but they could have ended the story with no loose ends. Of course I will watch the next season to see where this story goes and hope the cast comes back.

So would I, big V... So would I...

Maybe someone who knows Dr. Strange lore can answer my question.

Is there something unique about his cape? In the new featurette that came out today there is a shot of Strange walking past and looking in a case and the cape is in there and its floating unsupported and it seems to be reacting to him. Like its following his movement as if an invisible person is wearing the cape. Is the cape sentient somehow or magically imbued with some sort of essence that makes it more than just an inanimate piece of fabric?

Sort of like Aladin's magic carpet.

apparently the Westworld premiere is out there.. somewhere.... :ninja:

I enjoyed seasons one and two but I thought season two was better. Almost done with season 3 and some of my favorite episodes this season are "Déjà Q", "Who Watches the Watchers", "The Offspring", "Hollow Pursuits", and "Yesterday's Enterprise". I think it would have been awesome if human Q stayed around for a couple episodes working on the Enterprise and I guess Shooter McGavin decided to go to space after losing that golf tournament.

From what I remember, it is somewhat sentient. I can think of several times I've seen the cape standing off to the side on it's own but wouldn't be able to give you the books

yeah, the Japanese know how to sell me there various movies. I'd watch that. End the war tonight? I'd make that deal.

That is the Cloak of Levitation. The Cloak allows Strange to fly and is a bit "alive" though not sentient per se. It can shape itself in a limited way according to Strange's will providing an extra though not invulnerable level of protection.

Most people think things really improved during the 3rd season.....there was a lot of behind the scenes trouble the first few years, and it started get cleared up during the 3rd season.

Glad you are enjoying it. Those are good episodes. I myself really like the sort of mini Romulan arc with Geordi trapped on a planet and then the follow up with the Romulan defrctor.

Season three is when the show really gets it's own identity and gets out from under TOS' shadow. Let me know you think of BEST OF BOTH WORLDS and the follow up episode where we meet Picard's remaining family on Earth.

Yep.....that was an excellent episode that created repercussions that were major plot points for the rest of the series.
