We saw X-Men DOFP. We spent the time before the movie talking about new Star Wars and Hellblazer comics. Then after the movie we were all hyped about [BLACKOUT]the time reset and Scott and Jean being back.[/BLACKOUT] Then on the way home we talked about the Star Wars EU and Oreos...

So, I managed to acquire another 6' Black Series Stormtrooper & a Luke Bespin. Also, I never realized the small, Vintage Collection figures could be pretty expensive.

So, I managed to acquire another 6' Black Series Stormtrooper & a Luke Bespin. Also, I never realized the small, Vintage Collection figures could be pretty expensive.

I'm still looking for Bespin Luke. But I've not been to any shops that sell the 6inch series in ages. I'm still torn on Obi wan though...

They're charging £10 or £12 around here for new 3 3/4 figures depending on the shop, which I find unreasonable. Hell the new TMNT figures are only £9 each, with the classics wave £15.

Ponda Baba: $45-60 on "Buy It Now" auctions


C-3PO: $60-90 on "Buy It Now" Auctions



Are you efffing kidding me???!!!


And if you choose to go after them on "live auctions" be prepared to shell out maybe half of the quoted prices.


Other ones like Dengar, R2D2, R5D4, go for around $30-40

If spoilers had ever ruined the movie for me, I'd avoid them but it almost enhances them sometimes. Like if there's an easter egg for me to keep an eye out for or something. With DOFP I knowa few story things, but no idea how it all goes down.

Yeh dude that's insane. I'm not against paying more for rare figures, but that's taking the piss. I'd pay maybe £25 for a normal Star Wars figure. I think I paid £14 for Captian Tarpus or whatever his name is, the Gungan chap who is annoyed with Jar Jar. But I'd never pay over £30.
