Lovecraft Country - Jordan Peele and Bad Robot Team Up on HBO

Honestly seeing Atticus with Jamie Chung character made me not like his paring with Leti and wish he was with her.

Me too and its not that I think they don't have good chemistry or anything, but I just found there pairing to be a lot more interesting, especially Jamie Chung's character. I get where RockSP is coming from though and maybe that episode wouldn't have been as effective as it was had it started from the Korean War perspective, but that doesn't mean that I still would not have liked to at least seen it start out from that point of view.

Btw last nights episode was good, but Aunjanue Ellis's performance was flat out amazing and the best part of the episode IMO. This show really deserves some awards consideration at the Emmy's for these performances.

This show does some of the weirdest out-of-time music choices that somehow work. Like seriously, Bananarama's "Cruel Summer"? On the other hand, looking for the comments on the video at Youtube lead me to Evanescence's cover which was good.

Michael Kenneth Williams really deserves somekind of award for the Oscar worthy performance he has given us this season. That scene between him and Atticus was beyond heartbreaking, but what came afterwards was so damn satisfying. These last couple of episodes have been insanely strong IMO and now I'm kind of sad that its already coming to an end next week.

If this show doesn't win a lot of awards it'll be a sin

It is cool that HBO has showcased the Tulsa massacre twice over the last two years after it being not spotlighted in the media much.
I didn’t even know about it until seeing Watchmen.

I enjoyed the finale, but that ending gave me more questions than answers. I really hope we get a Season 2 if that's direction there going in, because this show deserves it. I think its a pretty great show overall even if it stumbled a bit in the middle section, although I don't believe there was a bad episode in the bunch. At least it started strong and ended strong and sometimes that's really all that matters IMO.

It is weird seeing folks defend Christina on social media. She is a narissist who would sacrifice anyone to achieve power. Christina is just mostly honest with her manipulative schemes which is rare for an antagonist.

Wait how did Leti get her invulnerability back? I didn’t get that from the little flashbacks.

Dee with a cyborg arm and a monster pet though .

No idea on which points these folks defended her but she was not a racist which helps maker her sympathetic, she was relatively up front and didn't hide that her goal will cost lives.

This news definitely sucks and I know this show wasn't for everyone, but I thought it was pretty great from beginning to end and I would have been down to check out another season.

I also hope this doesn't ruin the future prospects of more HP Lovecraft material being adapted into a big budget shows, because I honestly think they work better in that format.

I wasn't under the impression this was a story that was going to continue.
