Here's a pro-tip: if you are the co-founder of a massive oil manufacturer and you have an NFL stadium named after you, you probably want to keep your racist and xenophobic rants to yourself. You definitely don't want to push them out on Facebook. That's the lesson that Lucas Oil co-founder Charlotte Lucas should have known before she went on this crusade against minorities in the USA:
"Im sick and tired of minorities running our country! As far as Im concerned, I dont think that atheists (minority), muslims [sic] (minority) nor any other minority group has the right to tell the majority of the people in the United States what they can and cannot do here. Is everyone so scared that they cant fight back for what is right or wrong with his country?"
We're sure the NFL is thrilled that they get to be attached to yet another controversy; the Indianapolis Colts play in Lucas Oil Stadium. For her part, Lucas did reply to Call 6 investigator Rafael Sanchez when he called her to confirm the statement. She went on to say this:
"I was very upset when I wrote that. I will not elaborate other than to say there are certain people who are trying to make the whole world eat what they want to eat and do what they want to do. I don't think it's any of their business what I put in my mouth. Thank you."
That doesn't sound like the apology most would expect from a public figure, but that's it for now.
...Im starting to wonder if someone is playing some elaborate joke. Why are so many people saying stuff the know is just going to bring them a load of trouble. I know it's obviously happened since forever, but it's crazy how big business people/public figures "snitch" on themselves nowadays
