Yeah, I can understand GAP members as we have Beta Trial Members over here... I should be getting in on the next batch of members for that.

I really want to play the Beta, but I refuse to pay for it. I'll just get in when I pre-order from GS.

SCEE are handing out 16,000 codes over the next couple of weeks on a first come, first serve basis. I just feel that SCEA have been cunning in getting people to part with their money to gain beta access. I'd refuse to pay for a code too.

It's an absolute nightmare to download. Been downloading the 2.7GB files now for 2.5 hours.

I've had the beta for about a week now, I have QORE and yes I payed for it but I've had it since it first came out and 4 or 5 free games and betas later I don't regret it one bit, well worth it!!!

I finally got a beta code and have been playing it for a little bit. At first I hated it, I thought it was trying to be another Call of Duty wannabe and was playing it like Call of Duty. Then I started playing it more like Resistance: Fall of Man and can honestly say this game is pretty fun!

The only downside to it is that this game was made for HD gaming and I like to play on my standard def tv.

Anyways, what does everyone think of the beta thus far?

No. The beta sucks. Ive had it since August and have only gotten to play about 3 times. Server seems to always be unavailable adn too often there is an update that may take 2 hours+ to download/install. Its been more of a hassle than anything

Well gamestop was packed out the whazoo, and didn't even have the game I wanted on sell. So it became a moot point.

The beta is fun actually, but I agree with Havok...it is a hassle. They have got to make a couple of tweaks; I hate how you have to wait until games are over in order to join them. How come they only search for existing games already in play?

I think also it would be in their best interest to allow the player to customize their controls to their preference. Customization, in my opinion, is a must for this generation.

Agreed. I was lucky to get in the beta and enjoyed the hell out of it when I knew what I was doing. Its a nice change from MW2 and the customization is really cool. I don't mind the button configuration but it was confusing learning to switch between riffle and secondary, and switching from grenade to first aid. I will def pre-order.

Anyone else having Server problems??? Everytime i try to play the Beta a error message keeps coming up.

The server issues have been resolved. For those that didn't know, the Beta is on the Playstation Store to DL right now.

As I expected this game feels janky as hell. The animation, character movements, and gameplay are all stiff and sluggish.

Well it is still in Beta. Perhaps the finished version will have those corrected.

I guess it's possible, but in my experience when a game enters beta then the gameplay and whatnot is pretty much nailed down. Beta tests are mostly used to aid in bug-squashing and adjusting map layouts and weapon balance.

I thought it was alright, nothing special and doesn't really deserve all the recognition it is getting. The graphics aren't the greatest in the world though I wasn't expecting much and for as many people that are suppose to be playing at once, I found it to be pretty boring. I'll stick with the MW2.
