MAG: Massive Action Game

Yeah, seems a respectable score. I'm glad that we've reached a point where a PS3 exclusive just being good and not end of the world amazing isn't a disappointment now.

I picked up the game a few hours ago, I'll be online a little later to start leveling up!!!:awesome::up:

Honestly...I'm kind of disappointed with how the reviews are being written. It’s okay if you don't like MAG, I can respect that.

However, when you’re complaining about spawning and dying in like ten seconds...that annoys me. You shouldn't down grade a game just because you are constantly dying. You just have to learn the mechanics on how to play it. I agree with Sony’s statement that "you can't judge the game based on a two hour play session."

If that were the case, I would hate MAG with a passion. Like I said, when I first started playing it I was disappointed. The game felt jerky, weird and the zoom in was terrible! Then after a couple of days I finally figured out this wasn't a Call of Duty wannabe but something different.

I then played it more like an arcade shooter and fell in love with it. It’s possible to run around and lit people up. You can go 35-0 in this game without having to camp. It just takes some practice at how the game works.

A lot of these reviews are being written just for the sake of having a review on MAG...I find that a little disappointing. Again I know not everyone is going to like this game, but at least make an effort to give it a fair shot.

I agree 100% Lizzy,:awesome::up: when I first played the Beta's I hated the game even though I was looking forward to it, but I couldn't get a handle on it and was just cannon fodder for a while lol!!! Then I started leveling up, got the hang of the fact that this game is a Tactical shooter and not a frag fest, and ended up loving the game!!!:ninja: Is the game for everyone, no, noobs beware, is it for us, HELL YES lol!!!:oldrazz::D:up:

@Guardian-I'm going to pick up my copy tonight. We should rage up some online together! :D

I'll be on for the weekend, playing it for a review.

The game, in my opinion, is really fun! The only thing thats kind of bothering me is that I'm constantly getting put on awful teams....

I'm the only one who goes positive out of my two squads. -_- Is there a way to party with people?

I dunno, but when I'm back this weekend I'll try and play with you Liz.

You guys play sver right? Cause only scrubs play valor and only brasilians play raven ehuehuehuehuehuehuehuehuehu

VALOR FTW son and don't make me school you!!!:o:oldrazz::D:D:D

Hah, yeah right. I was averaging 2500 xp per round and something like 15;1 kd, lvl 44 before the beta was up. You'd get wiped to the floor clean.

Interested to know, SouLeSS did you play SOCOM back on PS2?

So what happens if all 128 SVER players decide to meet in one place? Notice no lag. Amazingly awesome.

Nope. I just played the beta for literally 10 hours a day while it was up. Ide get anywhere from 50 to 200 friend requests a day cause of how baller I was. All I know is getting improved revive, extra heaalth and the red dot for the first smg and revivng everyone while picking people off in half a second gets you a ****load of points. Especially if you're at you're target. 20 points per revive, up to 30 points if you heal someone from almost dead, 10 per kill...adds up really fast. Especially when you're going on 10+ kill streaks while keeping all your allies around you alive.

Their comment on the domination maps is how i felt.

I dropped by a buddies house and spent a few hours with the game. Fantastic concept, but poor execution. Given the fact that there were massive amounts of people in the game, it felt less like a war compared to something like Battlefield: Bad Company 2. Overall i felt as tho the game is just a generic shooter, no better, no worse than every other fps on the market. Also, in like a 3 hour span, i came across 2 people who had mics, thats annoying.

I do wanna give the game another shot tho, id like to sit down and play it over the course of like a week. Maybe ill go out and get a used copy and if i dont like it ill just take it back.
