He said "no special effects." He was talking about makeup special effects or lighting techniques. A lot of actors also use a collagen based glue that can firm their face during the movie. He never said NO CGI and then YES CGI.

It's totally clear they'll use a young actor, although Ian could appear too, but more at the end, or like a narrator during the whole fim, or for some parts, you know. I think a good way could be a scene of him in the present, he being old, and then starts the young period, (the rest of the film) since the final, the present again. This has being done before, but could work here too. All of this is to have Ian in the film too. He must be there in some way.

Sounds to me like it was a joke. I believe it'll work for a short scene like X3 but I seriously doubt they'll spend the money for a feature length prequel. At any rate, there's NO way they've decided yet. This is just wishful thinking/promotion by Sir Ian.

I'm in agreement on this one. I think he was joking. Good way to get to talk about what they did to make him younger in X3 though!
