World Make a better Reeve Superman Collection cover

OK guys.....I've seen a lot of complaints about the covers of the new Reeve Superman DVDs that are coming out (and I agree with most of the complaints)...so let's do something about it.

I know there are a bunch of you who do great work with manips and the like....so here's the challenge....let's see who can make the best DVD cover. Front, back, and side. Make it look professional...have all the pertinant information needed...and look cool.

May the best artist win. I may actually come up with a neat prize for this too.

I would say look at the text for the previous dvd covers

Well here's mine

I only did a cover for the first film, otherwise I'd be here all night! I went for a classic arty look. I kept the back cover simple, so that the background image of Chris Reeve would be more appealing. I also made the superman text myself, as I didn't want to use the original. And it took a while to cut out Reeve and put him on a new background! My arm still hurts, lol.

If you look carefully at the text under the blurb, you'll see it's the film info for Bladerunner! Another great film, haha.

Well hope ya like it, it's not a pro effort or anything, just kind of a quickie. It killed some time, so thanks for the idea to make somethin'.

By the way, let me know if there are prizes! Mmm, yummy prizes.


P.S The cover would be holographic or that kind of '3D' hologram effect! (The coloured pieces ie: Supes, and the text would be the ones that jump out from the rest). And the back cover would alternate between the Reeve pic, and the white text on a black background.

That's nice Masut....but I was thinking of it having the actual credits from the various Superman movies.

I like the choice of pictures, but the black does not work for Superman.

I also like the globe, it flashes red like our Krypton sun, but not this irritating noise. Make way.

This is the only cover that have no Capedwonder images, so I can post it!!!!!!!! the problem with superman IV is that I dont have very good images that can made a very good cover! I dont made a very profecional cover because of that, but the most imaportant thing is the consept!

Yes is not very good!! but I like more than the one of WB! the others I made are much better, but I cant post them!!

The problem of the Superman IV cover, is that the Chris photo is from Superman the movie, not from Superman IV and the others pictures are to dull

Supersebas, that's a great cover, sure the pictures are not crystal clear but the concept is terrific and could be a good platform to build upon.
