Unsure where he's having difficulty with getting singers, just have Ted Nugent sing 'Stranglehold' and throw in Kid Rock or somebody that has pledged allegiance to Trump like Kanye, etc. Rolling Stones although not for him could play "Sympathy for the devil." Then for Bannon, the Imperial March (guy already says he's Darth Vader) so in his backwards world that'd be an honor. Serious about Nugent though (just not the song, although it's fitting) and makes me question what exactly is Trump looking for.

/\ "Let me tell you. I am the best. The best. My restaurants are the best. Now I don't eat there cause the food's lousy, it's lousy - but it's the greatest and we all know it. We all know it. Now they're asking who I'm going to have sing. Rolling Stones? The Beatles? I'm having a real hard time cause they can't sing as well as I do. Seriously. Honestly, I'm telling you this folks I can't sing worth crap. And now they're saying I stole that kid's lollipop. He got it from one of my stores. He did. My company made, packaged, and sold that lollipop. Therefore, it's my lollipop even if I took from him. Cry baby. Let's ALL make America great again!" *the crowd cheers*

...

I listened as they called my President a Muslim.
I listened as they called him and his family a pack of monkeys.
I listened as they said he wasn't born here.
I watched as they blocked every single path to progress that they could.
I saw the pictures of him as Hitler.
I watched them shut down the government and hurt the entire nation twice.
I watched them turn their backs on every opportunity to open worthwhile dialog.
I watched them say that they would not even listen to any choice for Supreme Court no matter who the nominee was.
I listened as they openly said that they will oppose him at every turn.
I watched as they did just that.
I listened.
I watched.
I paid attention.
Now, I'm being called on to be tolerant.
To move forward.
To denounce protesters.
To "Get over it."
To accept this...
I will not.
I will do my part to make sure this great American mistake becomes the embarrassing footnote of our history that it deserves to be.
I will do this as quickly as possible every chance I get.
I will do my part to limit the damage that this man can do to my country.
I will watch his every move and point out every single mistake and misdeed in a loud and proud voice.
I will let you know in a loud voice every time this man backs away from a promise he made to them.
Them. The people who voted for him.
The ones who sold their souls and prayed for him to win.
I will do this so that they never forget.
And they will hear me.
They will see it in my eyes when I look at them.
They will hear it in my voice when I talk to them.
They will know that I know who they are.
They will know that I know what they are.
Do not call for my tolerance. I've tolerated all I can.
Now it's their turn to tolerate ridicule.
Be aware, make no mistake about it, every single thing that goes wrong in our country from this day
forward is now Trump's fault just as much as they thought it was Obama's.
I find it unreasonable for them to expect from me what they were entirely unwilling to give."

Journalist Glenn Greenwald brought up a key point regarding the anti-Establishment crowd that voted for Trump.

There were actually two types of anti-Establishment voters. The first were the voters who were conned into thinking Trump was anti-Establishment; the second were those who completely understood how dangerous of a candidate Trump was and did it anyway. Not in spite of it, no, but because of it. And it's very possible the latter crowd were a little larger than the former.

The mentality was "If Hillary wins, I go down. If Trump wins, they go down with me." This is how bad the situation's gotten in America. The same mentality is what fueled Brexit.

There's two more anti establishment, albeit didn't vote for Trump. You have those who voted third party or didn't vote. And, where I fit in and I'm sure others, Trump entering the political sphere came off as a threat because it would be combining two forms of the establishment (big business and politics) in such a way that it would make the establishment all the stronger for it and seeing that voted for Hillary as a safeguard from a combined force establishment; this is why I'm confused about those who are anti-establishment, could see what Trump represented and voted that way since it is in essence a pro establishment vote because Trump combined them which made the establishment stronger.

Trump least popular US president-elect in two decades: polls

Excerpt:

Washington (AFP) - Donald Trump's approval rating has improved since he won the White House on November 8, but he is still the least popular US president-elect in more than two decades.

An average of recent polls calculated by the Real Clear Politics website shows that about 50 percent of Americans hold an unfavorable opinion of the Republican leader, against 45 percent who view him positively.

That is better than on Election Day, when 58 percent of voters expressed negative sentiments towards him.

But Trump still trails his two immediate predecessors, according to a CBS poll made public on Thursday.

More than one in three Americans believe he will be a poor president, compared to seven percent for Barack Obama in December 2008 and 14 percent for George W. Bush in December 2000.

Gallup, using data going back to Bill Clinton's election in 1992, found that Trump has hit a new low in terms of public approval of how he's handled the transition, with 48 percent giving him a thumbs down and the same percentage a thumbs up.

We really don't need that kind of posting here....seriously.

Donald Trump Must Give Testimony Under Oath In Restaurant Suit, Judge Rules

[Sise="3"]The president-elect had tried to get away with not testifying, even though he himself brought the lawsuit[/size]

A judge has ordered Republican President-elect Donald Trump to give a deposition in a lawsuit against celebrity chef Jose Andres stemming from Trump’s disparaging remarks about Mexican immigrants.

District of Columbia Superior Court Judge Jennifer Di Toro ruled on Wednesday that Trump must testify in New York about Andres’ restaurant deal at Trump’s luxury Washington hotel. The deposition can last up to seven hours and will take place in the first week of January.

His lawyers had sought to limit how long Trump could be questioned and what could be covered, contending he was extremely busy ahead of his Jan. 20 inauguration.

But Di Toro said in her order that limits on the deposition could harm preparations by Andres’ lawyers, and that Trump’s own statements were at the heart of the case.

Trump is suing Andres for $10 million over breach of contract after Andres backed out of a plan to open a restaurant in the Trump International Hotel a few blocks from the White House.

Andres, who was born in Spain and is a naturalized U.S. citizen, has said he canceled the project after Trump denounced Mexican immigrants in June 2015 as drug dealers and rapists.

Andres has argued that the comments made it difficult to attract Hispanic staff and customers and to raise money for a Spanish restaurant.

:lmao: I love that he will have to set there for hours and answer questions under oath. His lawyers trying to get it shortened and have the topics limited and the judge denying that request is equally hilarious.

Donald could just drop the lawsuit, but he's too petty to do that.

So we now have names of the hackers... "Cozy Bear" and "Fancy Bear"....this is getting so bizarre.

So we now have names of the hackers... "Cozy Bear" and "Fancy Bear"....this is getting so bizarre.

Even if we find out who they are (their real names) and where they are they wont be extradited from Russia and if they could be Putin would probably make them disappear.

The weird thing is even for a pulp novel, the wackiness of this would even puzzle those readers.... My question is were Fancy and Cozy monitored since we've known them specifically for some time now.

Does anyone know if it's only the moderate Republicans showing concerns or if it's the Tea Partiers too?

They should be concerned about this. The GOP have a bear by the leash and seem content to allow it to hurt their enemies, but that bear could turn around and bite their heads off too.

Think about it. What happens if the GOP turns on Trump publically and impeaches Trump? Does the GOP think these hackers snd Russia and Putin will just let it slide? Hackers could damage the GOP the same way they damaged the DNC. Hackers vould hurt more than just political parties. And if the GOP is ok with this possibility then they are knowinly allowing themselves and the nation to be controlled and intimidated by a foreign power.

Its ****ing insane that one of the two major parties in America would let something like this happen.
