Iron Man 2 Make Your Own After Credit Scene!

Yeah, I guess Munn is good at improv to?

I remember reading some where Downy actually stopped a scene to say she was really good and that she deserved a round of applause.

I didn't hear about that. Was that for IM2.

Because he never acted like a airhead when I was on set. He just seemed like a nice, decent guy.

He was really funny when he messed up his line. "F***, Sh**, you know what, we will cut. Damn it."

Just the way he delivered it. It was funny.

Haha. Win.

I don't think he meant it as a bash on Munn but who knows.

If Thor actually appears after the credits, I will have a geekasm in the theater. I almost did after IM1.

But will Thor be in the costume or will he just be in regular clothes?

Haha. Win.

Oh, oops.

I miss read your post from before. I didn't see the "SHE" part.

I thought you said that he stopped the scene to give himself a round of applause. My bad.

Yeah that does seem like him. Especially if she did the scene well. He would stop the scene for her. :woot:

I did the same thing. All my friends are not that into comics so when I started geeking out in the theatre about seeing Sam Jackson with the eye patch I knew immediately who he was portraying before he even said his name.

My friends had no idea why I was reacting in the way I was.

he he hawhaw.

Paltrow, Johansson and, Munn on the same screen together.

Wow.

Yeah, when I saw it too I knew what was going on too.

So did everyone in the crowd.

It was an uproar of epic win.

I remember reading online, before the movie came out that there would be an extra scene at the end.

The people that were in the theatre did not know this and they were big comic book fans.

I just remember walking out of the theater and the guys telling me, "thank you for telling me to stay until after the credits. What I just say right now is EPIC."

People stayed after the credits for TDK.

I just laughed and laughed.

Some lady asked me what the Fury scene was about & I had to explain it to her.

It was awesome for me.

I went with a few friends (most pretty unfimiliar with Iron Man, but they knew most of what they knew from me) and they were all fans of comics and but not as much as i was. It was the midnight show and only about 10-15 people stayed but everyone couldn't believe what they just saw.

That was the same for me too.

Man, it was totally awesome when I saw Sam JAckson on screen playing Nick Fury.

Tony Stark gets a phone call from Fury.
Nick is in an operating room with a group of scientists examining a
frozen body.

STARK: Yes Colonel, what is it ? I'm kind of busy.
FURY: You'll never guess what we've found.
Close up on Cap's old shield.

I posted this in the Norton rumour thread but it applies here too:
Bearing in mind the scene will be short (no more than a minute) and it should serve as another link to the Avengers this is what I'd have in mind...

After the final credits roll we cut to Bruce Banner's hiding place up in Canada and Tony (in full armor) lands just outside the cabin. Banner calmly opens the door and with that familiar green glow beginning to flare up in his eyes, he says "Nice suit...I hope you have a spare."
Tony opens the face plate on the armor and replies: "Doctor Banner, I'm not here to make you angry, I'm here to make you an offer" (or something like that) Fade to black.

That would be neat  Similar to how they handled it in the Ultimates.

How about this?

After the credits, it fades up to 'Thunderbolt' Ross standing in some sort of military control room. He's holding a phone up to his ear:

ROSS: Hello, Col. Fury? It's Ross. Give Mr. Stark a call. We've found him.

As he delivers the last part of the line, he steps to the side and the camera zooms in on a screen that he was blocking, and on it is Banner's cabin.

Just an idea.

Additionally, I've got one for the end of Captain America.

A group of men dressed in heavy parkas with balaclavas covering their faces are scrounging around in the snow for something. It's pretty evident that they're combing the area for something. Suddenly, the two closest to the camera exchange a look and one pulls his balaclava and hood down, revealing that it's Agent Coulson from Iron Man, and he turns to the other agents/pulls out a phone to call Nick Fury, and says something along the lines of "We've got him, sir!" Then (like someone else mentioned), show Cap's old shield under the ice and snow.

Again, that one would be better for the end of Captain America, but it could work as a post-credits scene for Iron Man 2, or even as an opening to The Avengers.

I really like that bruce banner idea up there, the one with tony outside his door.

Id like to a seen something like this:

Tony and Fury walking through shield HQ discussing Hulk and Fury tells him that Bruce was trying to recreate super soldier serum. And Fury explains to Stark that the SS serum was created in WW2 and only what subject survived. Tony says "what happened to him?" Fury doesnt respond leading stark into doorway. ( as they walk into a room with a group of shield scientest defrosting an huge ice cube.( as ice melts red, white, and blue figure becomes more visable. And Fury says this "this is the original super soldier."

I think in this Marvel movieverse everyone would (or should) know about Captain America and his name would be as legendary to the world it was in the books (otherwise his return just doesn't have the same impact) so Tony should already know who Fury was talking about (he already has a copy of the shield in his lab as well).

I think the idea of Fury saying to Tony "You ain't gonna beleive what we just found" works a little better if the post credit scene is to link to Captain America.

:csad:thanks for killing my dreams!!!!!!

no need for "your welcomes" and "no problems" etc.:csad:
