Man of Steel - How It Should Have Ended

About time! and Awesome! thanks for posting. love Hishe, they point out the plot holes better than anyone.

yeah I coulda swore they woulda gone the terraform Mars route. :P

LOL, I love these videos. "Hope doesn't start with an S."

The best bit was when Aquaman showed up :lmao:

See how boring MOS would have been if we went the direction some people complain about... Love this video... best so far... Love the Aquaman scene and Batman... lol

Can't remember the details of the movie, but I'm surprised no one's asked this yet:

Why *didn't* Clark just do that? Have they found a valid plot-hole? Doesn't detract from my enjoyment of the movie, just sayin'...

It's easy to take the easy way out but what would that do for MOS movie... it would had suck a$$ if that is what we got in MOS... no fighting and no one dies... lame... Movie would not be as epic as it was without the events in the movie. Although we could have superman spin the earth backwards to turn back time and save everyone. In the End no one dies and no one can complain about it... It work in STM. :whatever:

It's not a plot hole at all, how often do we not look at what may seem the obvious answer? Clark obviously went to see the Priest because in his heart he's human and most humans would look to god. Don't get why some are calling it a plot hole.

I read that someone said that both phantom drives had to be activated in order to create the black hole. Is that true? I can't remember.

Yes that is true but I think by their ship engine been active that the drive was active.

This made so much sense. I can't believe no one has pointed it out before.

I think we should watch the movie again before.
I think we miss some points. Because some find some passages weird while everything was explained...

I think he wanted to talk to someone more impartial than his mom or space dad and figured the priest wouldn't tell anyone because of his vows. Still, talking to Jor-El would have solved a lot of problems. Wow.

Yes. If anything is not a plothole in MOS, this is it.

It's not so much a plot hole as it's just something that didn't make sense. People say that if that happened then there'd be no movie but that's not true at all. You just have to write something different that makes more sense.

Well, Clark didn't know what Zod wanted with him at that point, nor did he know that Zod wanted to terraform earth and kill everyone on it, so it was reasonable that he wouldn't have wanted to throw Zod back into the Phantom Zone or get rid of him right away no questions asked. Jorel wouldn't even have known what Zod wanted to do at that point. Had Clark gone to him, he might have told Clark not to trust Zod and tell him how to get rid of Zod just in case all hell broke loose, which might have given the military a heads up, but I don't really see it playing out all that differently once Clark was trapped in the ship.
