I won't be drawn back into this again, not when there are 15 pages of me already involved in it elsewhere.

The only thing I can say is when people are in a fear state they may not think rationally. If they are armed then odds are they will already have a natural instinct to confront what they may think is an immediate threat. They are not going to wait for protection to arrive if they feel threatened by an imminent danger. If they are armed, odds are they will feel the need to protect themselves and their family.

That's nice and all, but guess what? People who are thinking irrationally are still responsible for their actions. Especially when their completely irrational fears and actions lead to them murdering someone unecessarily.

God help the pizza delivery guy who knocks at the wrong house one night. The only tip they will get is one on the end of a bullet.
