punk joey's is AWESOME! I love Emma Frost...but I think when they are going to do Storm's hair..they wanna keep it to the comics but satisfy todays media style.

lol, i think mine should have just stayed put in the manips thread, its not really what you could call a poster, more like an idea, i never get the chance to do stuff at the moment because ive got some exams coming up next week and coursework to finish off.

I'll definately be putting a bit more time and effort into future competitions when i actually have the time to do it.

Who decides what the next competition is going to be about anyway?

I think I'll forget humbleness and vote for my own poster

I was really putting my head on stress to decide between my own poster and punk joey's, because his Emma Frost alone makes it a great poster...but because of some little things, and just to not let me with only 2 votes, I'm voting for my own.

YAY PUNKJOEY!! Your characters, colors and composition--plus iceman's slide and logo coolness made it my own personal fave--but your tagline of "Old Friends Become New Enemies" combined with the look of mistrust on Rogue's face really sealed the deal for my vote!! I also like XMENfreaq's inclusion of herself that was a nice touch and showed passion which I love*.....But honeslty they are all X-ceptional and there is too much greatness/creativity to describe why I love them all!!!
*Edit: I shoulda included Majik in there too for doing that!!!

I would have voted for Punk_Joey if he'd kept the original. The new one is too crowded. I voted for Wideawake. It's simple, cool, minimalistic and what's the best: it's really well done.

Thanx.. I voted for yours too. I thought it was great.

i think that the background for my origional poster looked a bit 2 dimentional (spelt it wrong) and that the addition of the mountain gave a little depth to it. The only person i would have taken out is poloris.

I'd like to say that everyones work was great and that winning isnt really important. For me, i see this more like a bit of fun that has allowed us to express our interest and passion toward the x-men within a community.

I love The Spy Assasin's poster, so I voted for that one. Even though Storm was pushed all the way to the back, it really reminds me of the 1st film's promotion shots, dvd case, etc.

Masterj's and punk joey's ran a close second and third, however.

Oh and PhoenixRisen, I love what you did to the X-Men's costumes. Adding just that little bit of color to the uniforms (the X's, mainly) and giving Angel his goggles, looked so cool. I just couldn't vote for it because of some of the casting choices. The Rock? Beyonce?!?

I have to admit LSB's and Flavio's took my breath away when I saw them. The simplicity and the non-overabundance of characters made them look so clean.

I gave my vote to LSB because I love the costume teaking and the risk taking.
