I like the second poster much better.

Early reactions are coming in. Sounds like the worst thing about the movie is the title (because it isn't the book)

Early reactions are saying its quite an effective zombie thriller.

Oh come now, when has Pitt ever made a bad movie? And that's not sarcasm, really. I have yet to see anything of his where it's literally unwatchable.

Are these twitter reactions? Because those aren't entirely reliable. If this is getting a good overall reception, color me surprised, because as much as I want to see this, I'm expecting bad reviews.

IGN and Latino Review wrote that they liked it. They wrote that they liked it on twitter

Well, since so many people are ****tin g all over this movie, and we got all those articles saying how this is turning out to be a disaster, it would be great if the movie does end up good to great.

I really hope so. I'd love for that to happen. I get pretty tired of people just expecting these things to be bad movies (and maybe even want them to be bad to make themselves right) before they even see them.

Yeah no 400 million :whatever:
While i have absolutely no interest in seeing WWZ in cinemas , it's stuff like this that causes negative hype.
According the recent reports the budget of this flick is 200 million.
AND NOT 400 million.

C'mon even Avatar wasn't that expensive.

I don't think it's wise to dismiss something where we have no idea about its inner workings. None of us are working on this movie. None of us have seen the numbers. We don't know how much was spent. But you'd be surprised. Given all we heard about how much money has been thrown at this thing with its issues, $400 mil may have been over the course of the entire production of this film. $200 already looks at the starting budget, or more. $100 for the marketing or maybe even more. A COMPLETE reshoot of the climax could very well bump this up to $400 million.

Well that's good to hear. But that could just happen to be two positives in a row. Tomorrow could have three negatives in a row for all we know.

More importantly, I'm waiting to see what I think of this movie.

I sure hope those early reactions are true, I'd hate to see this movie fail. (even if it does have running zombies)

Well it's more than just them. Check CBM (we cant post links to that anymore right?) they have an article with a few people praises it

But I get what you mean. Yeah these are all good but all the bad ones could come later

Happened with Green Lantern. And the differences here are that people are expecting bad reviews.

I will say thiss for sure: they need to up the marketing. How many posters have their been 2 or 3? Neither that special and Im surprised for them having a major star like Brad Pitt, his face isnt even seen on the posters.

I don't really think this looks bad. It just doesn't look a lot like the book.

I like how in the trailer, the family is sitting in the car in dead stopped traffic and a motorcycle whips by and rips off the mirror. Well Pitt gets out and a cop puts him back in his car. Then suddenly an 18 wheeler somehow whips by the dead stopped traffic and takes out the cop....hahaha.

I feel like if they made a Left 4 Dead movie, this would be the template.

I'm looking forward to it anyway.

Brad Pitt, Mireille Enos and David Morse in the same movie? I'm there.
