Brainiac, Darkseid, Luthor, The Parasite, Metallo, ancient Krypton, the Bottle City of Kandor and Superman's entire life from the moment he's rumoured by Rao-ist Prophets to the end of time where he finally closes his eyes.

I've turned down every brand-name I've been offered over the last year, Superman being the only one that ever really tickled my fancy. If it happens, great. If it doesn't, we'll be focusing on my usual self-generated movies and the director and I will start something new in January as a Plan B. I'd rather NOT make a Superman movie than do a bad one with someone else. It just means too much to me to be on some bog-standard sequel to Returns or deal with a jobbing director who doesn't see this as his ultimate ambition.
But WB have made no decisions yet (and I heard this right from the top) so there's still everything to play for. Fingers crossed they do the right thing

I think the scene with the Rao-ist prophets is what Mark Millar was referring to when he said talked about the movie starting a 1,000 years before Kal-El is born. It will probably take about a ten minutes and then he will probably bring the story up to Brainiac when he arrives on Krypton and then Jor-El, Lara and Kal-El story. That's what i'm predicting anyways.
