cage got an oscar for playing a drunk guy. after that he was in a lot of brainless summer movies.
Add to the brainless summer movies the use of hideous wigs

Eh, I liked alot of those brainless Summer movies. GhostRider was a peice of s**t though.

No disagreement here, the wigs are beyond awful. It's so obvious it's not even funny...wait yes it is.:hehe:
Is it a wig or bad hair implant..? Anyway, his hair looked terrible in Ghost Rider

He needs to just shave it bald, man. All you ****ers that are losing your hair early, either wear the bald spot with dignity or shave that **** off, goddamn.

lol It just might be a bad hair plugs. His hair looked absolutely ghastly in that movie.

Like Willis and/or Chiklis..?

The thing with millar, if they hire him to write a script thats all he would be doing. I doubt they would give him the power to have imput in who to cast and this is where the director comes in.

If millar has this supposed director who wants to work with him you have another yes man, which if I'm not mistaken, is what singer had in his writers, only this time is vice versa. We don't need that.

With Millar's track-record of flat-out fabricating news-items just to get himself (and more importantly his comics) more attention, I'm surprised some of you folks here are so quick to take him at his word...

:whatever:

Wow. You and I agree on something. Alright. I almost mouth-puked, too.
Heh, it's not impossible for a Superman Returns fan and non fan to agree. I Am The Knight, Jamon, Nintendo nerd and Showtime have agreed with myself on rare occassions. To be fair Showtime and myself agree on quite a bit so he doesn't really belong in the line up.

I see your Birthday is a day before mine...don't know why i brought it up, it's just interesting to me for some reason is all.

well Nick got considered to considered to play superman before by Kevin Smith and Kevin Spacey was considered to play Lex before let see how it turns out

A Michael Bay Superman film is almost entirely dependent on the quality and type of script. If they go the epic/dramatic angle, we'll get PEARL HARBOR :cmad: OR if they go the for the fun, popcorny, blockbuster angle, well get TRANSFORMERS :csad: OR if it goes for the fun, blockbusterish, yet dramatuic and funny angle, we'll gert ARMAGEDDON...:)

A superman film ala Armageddon could work really well, actually. Armageddons the best disaster film around (aside from Titanic) in terms of emotion, tension, ect. The reason its generally disguared by critics is its horrendous plot of landin gon a asteriod and blowing it up.

Bumping. Bay has an AWESOME Superman film in him, but hell need a guy to give him the right script.

i like the sun flares. i think they would fit in a superman movie 100%.

yeah the problem is that people always mention the first draft or drafts.

Honestly...I don't care what he edited out or changed in later drafts, the fact that he would inclue some of what he did include in his earlier drafts is enough evidence for me that I don't want him in Superman. Singer gave Superman a kid, Abrams gave Superman a suit in a can. One didn't work, one wouldn't work.

We are in our own group...me and you.

This coming from someone who told us the Superman MOS casting call was real when common sense said otherwise. I've seen the Blair Butler video of Millar and he seemed pretty genuine. If he's lied about something I probably missed it cause I'm not sure what you are referring to. I guess he could of made up the part about the white cat, Supermans cape, or the mystery director. I'm sure all these things can be verified in time.

You haven't been keeping up on the comings and goings of Mark Millar and Superman previously then. I think it was something like he claimed Eminem was being cast as Jimmy Olsen and I believe he guaranteed the Jim Caviezal was cast as Superman in Returns and it would be announced soon.

In regards to the casting call, I called her myself, SHE claimed it was real. I don't remember anybody hear saying it was real, only saying the woman that was called said it was.

I have no doubt that Millar is trying to get a Superman movie made but he has been full of s**t on more than one occasion so nobody should believe that this "news" is anything other than him trying to dip his fingers in the movie Superman pie.

I'm just being vocal about not wanting him so WB won't get any ideas.

so can anyone actually bring up WTF Mark Millar's ideas are for a Superman film??

people keep talking about how he has terrible story ideas in his planned Superman film... I've tried searching the net and can't find crap... unless people here are talking out of their rear!! :)
