The show is finally out on DVD (Season 1) and if you haven't seen it, then this is your chance to witness what, in my mind, is the funniest black sitcom of all-time. This **** still owns.

This is in my Top 10 TV shows of all-time.
Probably the funniest show ever.

The best parts were Martin and Pam going at it. :D :D :D

Is this the show
Bart talked about in a episode of the simpsons
He kept saying the word butt

I loved this show. Pam and bru-man were two of my favorites.

I loved when Martin would just randoly see Bowman in his house, then he'd just climb out of the window. I also loved when Martin was Rusco. (The kid, I think that was his name)

I SAY JEROME's IN THE HOUSE!
I SAY JEROME'S IN THE HOUSE-UM-OW-OW- OUSE!
IN YA MOUTH!
WITHOUT A DOUBT!
BREAK IT DOWN!
TWIST AND SHOUT!

BREAK IT DOW-YEE-OUNNNNN!

It needed to be said.:ninja:

Watching it on TVOne nowadays, it amazes me how funny the show still is. It hasn't aged, whatsoever. Sure, once the Tischa Campbell dispute went down, the show jumped the ol' shark, but this was easily the most hysterical thing on the tube for me.

Man, was that bad. Tisha didn't even want to film a scene with him. I still remember the series finale where they were supposed to be moving out to LA. All the scenes were they conversed were split screen. It was wild.

what happen?

from Wikipedia -

During the last two seasons of the show, Lawrence began abusing drugs, the effects of which very obviously affected his performance on the show, and he suffered numerous psychological effects as a result. Campbell sued Lawrence for sexual harassment, alleging that Lawrence acted inappropriately while he and Campbell taped scenes of Martin and Gina sharing a bed.

The episode in which the alleged harassment took place was 'Back in Trouble Again' Season 5 episode 2. It was the last bed scene between Campbell and Lawrence. During the end of the episode there was a gag reel of outtakes of the two under the covers and they both seem to be joking around. This supports some of the doubts of the allegations.

Campbell's appearances in the show dwindled, often sharing screentime only with the "Pam" character, or in a split-screen with Martin, or not at all. She did not (and would not) appear in any scenes with Lawrence, save for a split-screen scene taped on separate sets. Campbell's disappearance from the show caused Martin to "jump the shark": the show's ratings and popularity dropped, and led to the show's cancellation. To this day, Lawrence and Campbell are still personally feuding, although Campbell stated in a radio interview that she is still very grateful to Lawrence for giving her an opportunity to be a part of his show.

Mama Payne, Bro Man, and Hustle Man were my favorites. I love the episode with Gary Coleman as Maddog No Good.

Tommy and his "job" was funny.

"You ain't got no job!" :woot:

^ I still wish they would have said what his job was. But apparently he quit his "job" just to end up doing the same thing with Aquanetta.

There was a priceless moment in the episode where Tommy is in the hospital. Martin, Pam, and Gina look through his wallet and find his business card. When they pull it out, it's a clear, plastic card with nothing on it. :woot:
