Marvel December 2008 Solicits

Brubaker and Fraction seem to be doing a lot of the same stuff Morrison did, actually. They've given the X-Men a "new" status quo that's as much a move back to what they were originally about as a move forward. They're the center of the mutant dogpile again, just instead of a school they're a sanctuary of sorts, and instead of students they're Cyclops' personal army. Oh, and Cyclops is even more of a dick now than when Morrison made him a huge dick.
Stroman will be off X-Factor before that. De Landro starts in November.
Yes... Yes...

Actually, Scott's not a dick at all in UXM or AXM. X-Force seems to be the only book that Marvel will allow him to be portrayed as a man who embraces killing. That's fine with me. I enjoy X-Force for what it is, but I like Fraction, Brubaker and Ellis' characterization of Scott much better. They write Scott like I'm used to, but with more ambition and drive.

So totally different from the Scott you're used to?

Nope. Pretty in step, just with more of an edge.

Yeah, I don't know what you're trying to get at, or what X-Men books you grew up on, but it seems that whatever they were, they were different from the ones that I was reading.

It's simple whenever you use the words "He's the same but...." that means he's not the same. Simple logic.

When did I ever use the words "He's the same, but..."?

Jesus, you're ******ed aren't you.

"They write Scott like I'm used to, but with more ambition and drive."

Sorry for not typing what you said verbatim. Holy ****.

Wow, so the concept of similarity is completely foreign to you, huh? Interesting.

I like those giant Christmas tins that have the dividers in them, separating the different kinds of popcorn. There's chocolate covered, carmel covered, a cheese flavored one, and something else. Maybe regular popcorn.

I find those utterly detestable. I've never encountered one with popcorn that wasn't stale.

I don't care for them either...mostly because they do always seem to be stale. I make better popcorn than those.

Butter!

Isn't that regular popcorn? I mean, who eats plain ol popcorn?

Then that's classified as old people/healthy popcorn. Butter is regular popcorn to everyone else.

There's an outdoor market near my apartment that makes kettle corn.
