Marvel: Do NOT kill Cap, or make him the new ****ing Ronin

Ok, so like we all know, Cap's been the one getting the most heat of MAYBE getting the bite at the end of CW. All the clues, and speculation, and even rumors bring it to an all new high. Marvel is either stupid, or just plain crazy. Cap's a freakin' legend. A damn ICON. He can't die, he just can't. Man, I swear, if the only reason Bucky was brought back was for this, and if Cap dies so he can replace him, I'm going to be one pissed off Cap fan. Not to mention it would be damn predictable, and IMO, a dumb move. I can't speak for everyone, but I'd personally hate it. Steve Rogers IS and FOREVER will be Captain America. And if Marvel can't understand that history, then, I'll have to say that I'd officially be done. Marvel would lose me as a reader, 'specially for the CA title.

This "Cap is Ronin" speculation is bugging me even more. Seriously, Cap ditching the costume and shield, to carry on swords and shurikens? WTF?? That isn't Steve Rogers at all. And the Avengers is NOTHING without Cap on the team, and Steve under the mask.

Dude, as f-ed-up as Quesada is, I doubt that marvel will do it. I do share your concern. But I doubt they'd do this to Cap. I think he will lead his own Avengers as well as Iron Man leads his post civil war. Eventually things'll be mended, but not for a year or so.

I really don't think Marvel has it in themselves to kill off a major player like Cap. But still, you never know with these things. I want Cap to survive the whole damn thing, and seeing how he is post Civil War, leading the Avengers again, fightin' the good fight.

Nah, see there's a difference. The other thread has to do with the Avengers, and who the new roster's going to be. Mine has to do with whether or not Cap's going to be seeing the light again, at the end of CW. Simple sense.

Thing is, Bendis said that the "new" Ronin has changed identities before, like Cap. And has a long history in the MU, like Cap.

I kept on thinking it was Clint, cause he's been in the MU for awhile. And Bendis said, whoever Ronin is, he or she is a favorite character of his. But, has Clint evern changed his ID before?
