pardon my ignorance on this, but what is DC's structure? I thought it was "pretty much everything is $3.99," as it is definitely no longer "Drawing the Line at $2.99!"

As HFMF said, just the bigger (as in thicker) books are $3.99. Action Comics, Batman, All-Star Western, Justice League, Detective Comics, all of Before Watchmen, and maybe a couple others. Everything else is $2.99. Not to mention, they all drop in price a dollar on ComiXology after one month of release. I'd read quite a few more Marvel books if they adopted this structure and cut down on double shipping.

Yeah, so essentially, if Marvel followed DC's structure, for 20 dollars a month I could buy:

Amazing Spider-Man
Avengers
Captain America
Fantastic Four
FF
Hulk
Iron Man
New Avengers
Thor
Venom

But with how marvel charges 4 dollars and double ships, I could only buy three titles a month. Three. Instead of ten.

You mean THESE preview pages featured on Bleeding Cool and CBR's Axel-in-charge column? Take a closer look.

Iron Man is in his red and gold armor as opposed to the black and gold one he's sporting in the Marvel NOW! promos. And on the monitor it's showing both Cyclops and Emma Frost still in their Phoenix form. Also, the artwork appears to be more in the style of Jorge Molina rather than Nick Bradshaw as both articles claim. It's more than likely that these pages are either from Wolverine and the X-Men #15 or #17 which are Avengers vs. X-Men tie-ins taking place in the midst of the event.

DeConnick isn't a bad writer, there's just way too many Avengers books and she loses out when the alternatives are Hickman and Remender.

I have zero interest in Legacy. I'll get it in trades in the miniscule chance of it being a sleeper hit.

Weird, I was sort of under the assumption they'd put a big name on Assemble like Mark Waid or Matt Fraction. I was interested in the concept under a new creative team but with that cover art, along with the alternative Avengers title I'm gonna have to pass.

I was fairly interested in picking up Captain America too cause I've dug everything Remender's done so far, I mean 3.99 is a bit steep for a character I've never read much of before and I've had mixed feelings bout JRR's art but Jesus Christ that cover is bad. Cap looks like some sort of weird, awkward patriotic ninja or something. I'm not sure what's bothering me about that pose but it just does.

Not to mention, Green Skull. What the hell is that? Are they gonna go all Blackest Night with the Skulls and introduce new ones for each color and have them all get together to start their own Legion of Doom? I trust Remender but I'm really gonna have to wait and see some previews to decide if this is something I want to drop 4, probably 8, dollars a month on.

As for Legacy, I have pretty much zero interest.
