Marvel over-load of negativity

Well, it's not nothing, and likening it to mind control as justification is a bit much. Hank did hit Jan once, mental breakdown or not, and it's there in his past. I don't want it apologized away; I just don't like how it's been front and center in all things Hank Pym for the past 5 years or so. It's one thing that happened during a particularly horrible period in his life. He's moved on and made himself a better man because of it--time for these comic writers to do the bloody same.

Sad part is that Hank's issues were dealt with very effectively. Some of these comic writers need to read the Entire West Coast Avengers Run. Back when Hank was just "Dr. Pym" in the red jumpsuit showed a ton of growth there, some of the best development that character ever had, worked things out with Jan and became a very competent hero. But research on continuity ain't high on most comic writer's to do lists anymore.

Hopefully we'll see more of that now that Skrullowjacket is gone and Dan Slott is in charge of the real Hank. I bet he's got the entire West Coast Avengers run filed away somewhere in his brain.
