I enjoyed the second season. I know the majority seemingly loved season 3 and considered it the best, I was still missing that red suit and wanted to see Murdock redon the red suit eventually. Season 3 felt like a rehash of season 1, black suit again and Kingpin was the main villain as he was in season 1. It was practically season 1 again, they just scratched out The Hand.
I did like season 3 on the whole, but just hated that we had to go a full season without seeing Matt in the red suit again. Seems like one of the producers on the series was so worked up about the idea of costumes. The producer seemed to be apologetic about the costumes. Iron Fist just never worked for me. I feel like if he at least had the mask, or a version of the suit-no need to be an exact match-it might have made a slight difference. I thought Iron Fist was trash.
Up to that point, I had gotten tired of the restrictions on these Netflix Marvel series, having a lower budget, and not being able to show the Avengers Tower in the background in various shots. That and not being able to connect it the shows more to the MCU, albeit, I still wanted the show to maintain its realistic tone. I hope the show will maintain its grounded setting, albeit, have a bigger budget--and I'm open to the idea of it cameos (as long as they're not forced) or appearances by other characters--I want to see Tom Holland's Spider-Man on the Daredevil series, except Holland's Spider-Man should be toned down, and be less theatrical-like and refrain from making corny MCU style jokes-and be slightly more grounded to be in tone with the Daredevil series.
