Yes, that's the Lord Thor helmet. After Odin died in the comics Thor wore that helmet until the end of vol 2.

Let's say that they actually ignored the Lord Thor angle and just used that version for the movie - would that ruffle many feathers? [no pun intended]

I've always found it to look pretty damn cool, and certainly more 'movie friendly' than Thor's traditional helmet.

It's one of my favorite pieces BB. I would love to see it in the film. Tho Coipel's design would be cool too.

I'd prefer something a little more traditional for the movie. I don't like how the King Thor version has Thor's face framed by a mane of heavy-looking metal feathers.
