Marvel Television Marvel Studios' Vision Quest

DanielRPK claims they're casting a young male co-lead for this show. People seem to be assuming it's either Tommy Shepherd or Vin Vision.

Tommy makes more sense if they are trying callback to what's already established in the MCU. Depending on what they do, it would be an interesting counterpoint with Joe Locke playing Billy in Agatha. As much as I would love for them to adapt anything from Tom King's Vision book, I feel a lot of it has already been sorta covered in Wandavision. I would like to see Vivian show up at some point though but don't know how likely that would be.

Also never occured to me until this report, that even though they are all distinct and different mini series, I supposed Wandavision, Agatha, and Vision (Quest) could be seen as different seasons of the same show but the focus is shifted on different characters. Like a more extreme version of the Wire lol (yes I know someone will cring me comparing this to the Wire, tis a joke :oldrazz: )

I hope they retitle the series as Marvel Television's Vision.

Wild its been 3 years since WandaVision, and Vision hasn't appeared anywhere since then.

I suspected this might be one of the best idea for Marvel Studios since the return of Tobey and Andrew in No Way Home.

I loved the idea of James Spader as Ultron - and that first teaser of Age of Ultron with No Strings promised such great things - but ala! Joss Whedon completely dropped the ball on the character (and the movie).

So if anyone can turn something with lots of potential around to greatness it’s Terry Matalas.

I like the Ultron news.
After the big gap it could be refreshing to see him back. I hope he comes across quite differently given the time he's been away.

Yep, I was so optimistic after that trailer. :csad:

Certainly don't blame Spader and it will be interesting to see him directed/written more effectively.

Can't believe we're still doing the "Teen" thing.

I'm not a fan of this Young Avengers gimmick. But I guess Marvel Studios just can't let it go and they would eventually release it, either streaming or theaterical.
Tbf it seems they are taking aspects of the Tom King Vision series which involves a whole family. I don't think this would be playing into the Young Avengers.

And slightly related, it seems Alex from CC has been suggesting that they are bringing back Olsen not as Scarlet Witch but rather as Virginia Vision. Which sorta makes sense because in the comics her brainwaves were based on Wanda. 1st tweet was in June, 2nd one is more recent.

So the kid Vision synthezoids, right?
That's what I'd assume, yes.

I think Young Avengers has potential, but they just need to dedicate to a Disney+ series soon. They've been building it up so long.
