This isnt based on any rumors or anything this is just something that im not sure how the population will respond to. Do you guys think they should make an epic blockbuster movie with a team up of many Marvel mutants?

This idea came about while I was watching FF2. The fact that so much was going to happen and the only heroes in the movie were the FF. (I know its just about them) but I couldnt help but wonder what the x-men were doing while this was going on lol

Obviously it would take an immense budget and very good writing/producing/visual effects but do you think if they did it right they could pull this off?

I would love to see some of the x-men and Fantastic Four and other heroes working together, that is what I loved about the cartoons, when spiderman teamed up with the x-men and so on...

Maybe even make a trilogy like some of the Marvel novels i have read where they have a 3 part story line.

What are your thoughts on a movie like this? Would u want to see it if it was DONE right?

I have also thought of this.

I think they're thinking about an Avengers Movie after Ironman and Hulk are out. Cause they will be appearing in it, with the same actors.

So a lot of the marvel characters will be in it (maybe a member of the X-men will appear or FF).

And we all know which X-man would appear. :whatever: But it is a good idea. A Spidey/X-men team up is what i'd like to see.

I really hope its not wolverine, im thinking it will be because every time there is a team up whether in cartoons or toys(mostly) its wolverine...uggh

It could work, but it would be a contractual and logistical nightmare to get everyone together. Lots of characters = lots of salaries, lots of expensive effects, lots of complaints that some didn't get enough depth or screentime.

In X2, Stryker's desktop (hacked by Mystique) had an icon for Franklin Richards so, although that was just an 'Easter egg', I like to assume that Franklin had already been born and recognised as a mutant by the time X2 had taken place. Which means the FF movies haven't yet caught up with the X-movies.

As Sue and Reed's kids - Franklin and Valeria - are both mutants, this would be a good reason for the two sides to come together. It would also provide some good interaction about the nature of bigotry in society - discrimination against people born with powers (X-Men and all other mutants) vs adoration/celebrity status for those who became superpowered by accident (FF).
