Against my better judgement of supporting all things Clone Sage related, I'll go with Gaunt.

The possibility of him being a reborn Harry Osborn was the only thing I found interesting during the Clone Saga. Also, Paul Jenkins wrote a MUST READ story with Mendell Stromm in Peter Parker Spider-Man years ago.

Yeah, I don't know who Gaunt is either, but Ruin was part of one of the most awesome runs Superman has ever had in my opinion, and that alone gets him my vote....despite the fact that I disliked what they did to Prof Hamilton...then again, looking at how they kinda handled his going bad in JLU? I don't mind so much now.

Never liked Hush. His whole point of being is effin' stupid.

Then Batman Eternal...I dunno yet.

Black Mask. Hush irritates me because he shows up for one story every few years that's heralded as this big game-changer but is usually nothing special. Started back in the very first "Hush" arc, which was a huge letdown given that I knew Loeb mainly from The Long Halloween before then. Pretty enormous difference in quality there.

Black Mask, by contrast, is just around all the time without making too many waves, so when he does have a game-changing story, it feels earned. He's a good crime boss for Batman's world.
