My initial thoughts....

AvX - I don't know who Thor is fighting. Not sure if I care. Could be a Phoenixed up Wanda or not. It sounds like this "X-Men alliance" is definitely going to bring back Logan and Beast to Scott's side......for a minute or two until they get fed up again, which it sounds like they're gonna.

Avengers #28 - The last stand or the Red Hulk.....I can only hope. Simonson's art looks killer though.

Avengers Assemble #5 - Looks like Bendis continues to s**t all over other people's work, this months example: Widow and Hawkeye. Not only is he dumping over his own work with Clint and Jessica Drew, he's crapping all over the Tasha/Bucky affair. Seriously Bendis, F**K OFF already. You're OUT OF IDEAS, you SUCK, LEAVE A.S.A.motherclucking P.

Avenging Spider-Man #9 - A Carol/Spidey issue? I'm there!

Captain America #15 - Is Cullen Bunn getting groomed for Cap's main title too? It looks like he's already off Wolverine because Jeph Loeb is coming back to stink it up again with the sequel nobody demanded - Evolution part 2.

Untold Tales of PunisherMAX - I must have missed that in the June solicts. I called it that this is where the line was going. Although it's a mini, I'm buying!

I don't read Wolverine but 309 caught my eye because of the premise and his taking Elixir under his wing, who I've desparately missed.

Oh, then I noticed it's freakin' $5. Freakin' Money-Grubbing Marvel.


Other than that big week... total with Invincible and my DC books I'm about $20 over limit for the month but have plenty of iffy things to cut off that extra fat. I'm thinking X-Men's a definate but we'll see. And what the heck is up with Defenders? Prince of Orphans is becoming a bad guy now? I'll read it for the explanation but I don't know how long I'm sticking with this book.

Couldn't have said it better myself.

How arrogant and/or lazy does someone have to be to continually disregard continuity as and when it pleases them to the extent that Bendis does? It's ridiculous.
