I think you'll be able to recruit her but not in the way you think. I was thinking since she's be come broker of her own she'd make network for you that she'd run. hmm which is another reason I wish obsidian will switch publishers and send alpha protocol to bioware. that way you can have descendant of Micheal Thorton work for Shepard in Liara's spy networkI'm surprised that this is DLC. I totally thought they were setting it up to be a major part of Mass Effect 3, possibly as a recruitment mission to get Liara back on your squad.
yeah I did say as much when i did a review of that game and said on the Alpha protocol thread on here. i really just think bioware should buy them up. or be the publisher for them in that series.I just wish Obsidian would just be merged another RPG studio at this point. It's clear they have talent, but that talent isn't in making good games.
I wouldn't call a single thing Obsidian has made "strongly-written."I initially thought about Bioware buying them, but I think Bethesda has the most gain from such a merger. They probably have the weakest writing of all the major RPG developers and Obsidian has some of the strongest.

Again. I wouldn't call a single thing Obsidian has made "strongly-written."
Or was that somehow unclear?
Really? 'Cause I think Fallout 3 had much better writing than Alpha Protocol...
Obsidian seems to work best on established franchises with solid game mechanics already in place. KOTOR II was, in many ways, an improvement over Bioware's original, merely hampered by the fact that it was rushed out the door.I just wish Obsidian would just be merged another RPG studio at this point. It's clear they have talent, but that talent isn't in making good games.
Yes, Alpha Protocol had a lot of really fantastic ideas--but Obsidian apparently just couldn't design the core gameplay mechanic worth a damn. Give them a game series with an established mechanic, as was done with KOTOR and is being done with New Vegas, and I think that's a formula for success.Yeah, you could clearly see a lot of potential in Alpha Protocol. The execution was just flawed. Really, really flawed.
KOTOR II was pretty sharp, even in the face of all the content cuts.I wouldn't call a single thing Obsidian has made "strongly-written."
