Mass Effect 2

They should have just put the helmet on a toggle or automatically removed it during cutscenes and conversations.

the Terminus Armor is ok, I do love that black hole gun though.....great for dealing with husks

and oh yeah....I ****ing hate Scions

Scions aren't too difficult. I only got killed by them when I tried to ignore them, haha.

I'm playing through right with the Umbra Visor. It's cool enough, and transparent enough, to see Shep's eyes.

I'll probably go on my 'Guyver' playthrough with the collector's outfit. That stuff seems better suited for like a third or fourth playthrough and not your first run on the Paragon or Renegade side. Best for already having experienced the game.

That's interesting. I call it the Guyver suit as well.

I downloaded the Umbra visor and the Recon Hood. Gonna get my last dlc today. Thanks for the info again on the Dr. Pepper stuff.

just beat it, and lost one guy, which means i get to do the final mission all over again

Well so...I'm kinda pissed right now. For whatever reason, I can not do Zaeed's loyalty mission because everytime I land on the planet the game says "Unreadable Disc" this is the first and only time it has happened. It's a real pain because I just want to get him loyal and take off to fight the collectors, it's the last freaking thing I need to do.

so Im on my second playthrough and I did Mirandas loyalty mission, then I got the argument between her and Jack, took Jacks side and now Miranda is no longer loyal...she kicked me out of her office and now won't even talk to me

*****....I want to leave a note on her desk that says "you're a ***** and Chuck is stupid"

You can take sides in that fight? Hilarious, I was all the way Paragon so I just went with the blue option. I wonder how pissed Jack gets when you take Miranda's side. Scary.

The next time you talk with Miranda you have the option of making up with her and regaining her loyalty if your persuasion skill is high enough.

I took Jack's side too. :D

Beat Mass Effect 1 (again) and FINALLY got my paragon Shep to 60. Imported that and working on a Paragon Sentinel this time. From what I've played, Sentinel is a blast.

Check out the Cerberus daily news on the in game main menu...they talk about the New York Giants beating the Beijing Dragons in Super Bowl CCXIX, lol.

Ok seriously I can't find ANY new armor. Can anyone help? Is there a store where ya can purchase these new suits??

Did you even try looking for armor? There's some in every "city" type of area.

There's only a few pieces for each area of the customizable N7 suit, anyway.

I hope we get some more pieces and some more weapons via the Cerberus Network at some point.

i really hate the emails in the private terminal. half of them are just teases. like the Cho reporter email saying give me an interview. you respond to the message, you never see her.

i really hate that the citadel was dullled down to wards and andersons office. really lame.

I didn't mind it considering all the other hubs that you get...Omega, Illium, Tuchanka

I think it was fine that way since the Citadel really didn't really play much of a role. I mean, can't you basically skip going there altogether if you want to? In the first it was more or less the hub for the entire game, so it made sense for it to be fully flushed out, here it's not much more than a side thing

makes sense to me....you're not in the Alliance anymore and you only go into Alliance space once or twice during the course of the game

I beat game last night and

Zaeed and Mordin died on me. Mordin was strange because I had no idea that he died until I continued the game afterward. Also I gave the kept the collector base and kept the "heretic" geth alive.

I will be either really lucky or really screwed for Mass Effect 3.

Since keeping the Geth faction is a Paragon move, I would say that will be helpful in the end. Since the base thing is a Renegade move, I expect it to go fairly badly in the end.

Well...

Your Mass Effect 2 Save May Not Work With Part 3
Seriously.

February 7, 2010 - Below is information that may be considered spoilery.

Some players may have to start fresh when they break open a copy of Mass Effect 3.

BioWare producer Casey Hudson explained to GameInformer that if the end sequences of your playthrough of Mass Effect 2 results in Commander Shepard dying, you may as well forget about keeping the save file around on your harddrive for when part three is released.

"Dead is dead. Mass Effect 3, as with the rest of the trilogy, is Shepard's story. If you have a dead Shepard at the end of Mass Effect 2, that saved game won't import into Mass Effect 3, Hudson explained.

"You can play Mass Effect 3 if you died in Mass Effect 2 of course, but you'll have to create a new Shepard. Harsh? Yes. But we wouldn't be serious about the concept of a suicide mission if you couldn't die and your death didn't have serious consequences."

No worries, BioWare. I'm sure most fans won't have a problem with replaying Mass Effect 2 again for the thirtieth time if need be.

Gotta call bulls*** on that. IIRC, they said Mass Effect 3 would continue with Shepard dead, if that's how your ME2 ended. Is Bioware going Molyneaux on us?
