Mass Effect 2

The only thing you can tell for certain is they have human like eyes, nose and mouth. She has eye-brows and I think one of the books refers to a Quarian ear as the human "equivalent" so their ear structure may not be exactly like ours.

Grunt also refers to them having tougher skin than Humans and Asari but seems to rate them under Turians.

Everything else is speculation: hair, skin color etc.

I'm really happy I asked. I sent EA Support the question, about the gamertag issue.

I told them that I had some Microsoft Points under my brother's gamertag because he had gold, so I'd get in on some of the Deals of the Week.

EA Support emailed me, and says that I need to purchase the Kasumi DLC under my gamertag for me to play it under my own gamertag. So, FYI for anyone who may have wanted to know as well.

That's what I figured you had to do.

Seeing as you had to plug in your Terminus, Collector and Dragon Armor unto their website and it appeared under your Gamertag and subsequent downloads were also filed under your account, they really want you to purchase their game new. :o

My bioware account info:

Yeah, but **** is it confusing to deal with. And I do not like the prospect of needing to purchase DLC twice for the one and same system and HDD...and have it take up more HDD space.

I'm curious if something like this goes against LIVE regulation or something.

OK, there have been rumors circling for a while that the Mass Effect franchise may be making some sort of appearing on the PS3 in the future. Bioware has done their best to silence them, but the rumors don't seem to show much sign of stopping any time soon. You've got Michael Patcher calling it "inevitable," retailers like Amazon, Gamestop and Game listing Mass Effect 2 on their websites, only to be pulled down, and then EA's own website in Russia having a product listing for it, again, taken down once upper management caught wind.

Well now with E3 around the corner, the rumor mill is once again turning. What's coming off the press this time? An allegedly leaked list stating what will be presented at many of the big guns' booths. Amongst a semi-predictable tide of sequels (though welcome ones, for the most part), there are a few curiosities (Ninja Solid? Project Xfree? Call of Duty MMO?) and one major bombshell: Mass Effect 3. Except there's one odd thing about it-- if the list is to be believed it will be announced at Sony's booth!

Microsoft and Bioware have insisted persistently that Mass Effect is an exclusive to the Xbox 360 and PC-- however, what they will not say, is how long for. Bioware has made little effort to rule out the possibility of the franchise appearing on PS3 in the future. The big question on my mind, though, in addition to "will it actually happen?" and all the legal red tape, is whether EA will start at the beginning with a proper two-pack port of Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2, or expect PS3 rookies to jump right into the story without having played the first two or crafted game saves to carry over. I guess we'll see. It's possible that ME will not come to the PS3 at all, but it would certainly be a pleasant surprise if it did.

New Mass Effect 2 DLC.

-- Electronic Arts and studio BioWare will release a fresh piece of downloadable content next month for Mass Effect 2, reports site Gamerzines. The DLC, titled Overlord, will consist of five levels focused on a brand new planet as players battle enemy artificial intelligence, according to Casey Hudson, the game's executive producer. BioWare has not said how much the download will cost.

I'm pretty sure that list was confirmed as fake a while ago.

Yeah. That list is very fake. I do believe they will be coming to PS3 though.

Yes, as the other two have said, that list is as fake as fake gets.

But they should go to PS3. The games are too good to not be available to everyone.

Yeah, I would love for Playstation owners to be able to play Mass Effect.

I think they'll eventually be ported, but probably not until after Mass Effect 3 comes out.

I was a bit suspicious of the list since the most part it was fairly predictable. It was 90% sequels and some of the games they were sequels to haven't had an installment in over 10 years (like Killer Instinct). Even so, I think there's a good chance that we might see a Mass Effect announcement on PS3 this year. In addition to the numerious leaks at retail sites and EA's russian website, it just makes sense.

If this happens then Microsoft has officially dropped the ball. I came to the 360 for it's great exclusives (Halo, Gears, Mass Effect, Valve, etc...) & they seem to be losing all those developers. Microsoft needs to do some serious developer purchasing....like now or I'll be getting a PS4 for the next-gen.

So I'm coming late into playing this game despite getting it opening day. Is the DLC worth paying for in terms of adding onto the overall experience? Or is it basically just rehashed missions?

I'm bringing a new character through this, given that I'm sick of playing Fallout 3 (and haven't even played much of it) and am waiting for The Darkspawn Chronicles last week, and...

I love this freaking game. So much.

I intend to perfect four separate Shepards.

Crook: What DLC? If you have the Cerberus Network, a bunch is free. I'd personally call the Kasumi DLC worth it. I enjoyed the mission quite a bit, you get a new SMG, and Kasumi is awesome.

I started a new playthrough and downloaded the Firewalker mission. I thought it was pretty fun. Though it made wish Bioware had one or two vehicle segments during the story.

Well, obviously everything you get from the Cerberus Card is free.

But unless you want to buy new outfits or new weapons (Inferno Armor), once you upgraded your armor in the game it's usually better anyways.

I did like the Kasumi DLC which you have to pay for, however it gives you another teammate.

Kind of a weird question: If you buy Dragon Age: Origins for PS3, can you use the Blood Dragon armor code for ME 2 on the 360? Does the PS3 version of DA:O even have a Blood Dragon armor code?

Man, this game is awesome. I'm on Horizon now. I kind of hated being stuck as an Adept at first because of how shooter-intensive they made ME 2, but I've adjusted to it and it's actually a pretty awesome class. I just got the Collector Particle Beam, too, so now I finally have an alternative for taking down shields besides waiting for Garrus or Miranda's Overload to recharge. I already like Grunt a lot, too. I'm using him and Garrus at the moment, but I think now that I'm not so dependent on Overload, I might swap Garrus out for Mordin. Mordin is hilarious--he's like the Doctor from Doctor Who and Captain Kirk from Star Trek put together. :D

Overload is for wussies....I shoot through shields

Corp when you get onto the Ghost Ship later in the game,

Read the rest if you want a small spoiler
You have an opportunity to gain access to a new weapon. You can choose a shotgun, sniper rifle or an assault rifle even as an adept. I picked up the assault rifle.
